Camping Du Port

Lovely site location, shaded pitches and close proximity to the river which is great for canoeing, swimming etc.

The positives:
Location is perfect for the main attractions of the area.
Quiet site, good for kids, friendly epicerie.

The negatives:
Online booking and reception staff attitude.
Could use some soap in the toilets area!

Our suggestion:
Don't book - there was plenty of room when we tried in August, and we were charged a different rate to that which their website booking promised (The man behind the desk was very rude when we asked about this). Other guests had just showed up which works fine.

Lovely quiet site in old walnut orchard on banks of dordogne. Tiny very sleepy village, has hotel with restaurant and bistro for cold beers and ice creams. Campsite has a small shop for essentials and a bar at night. Swimming pool.
We like low key camping without night clubs/kids clubs/golf clubs mind.

Can hire canoes and bikes from site.
