Beautiful setting with lovely lake and beaches nearby, perfect for boating, swimming, playing (lake is not very deep) Campsite has nice pool, crazy golf course and shop/bar. However, off season the services are not great. Generally very clean toilet and shower areas and the tents are well equipped with comfy beds. I wouldn't advise for families with very young children as they may get bored.

Lovely site with good facilities and friendly helpful staff- they helped us move our car etc when there was a storm brewing. There is a good pool (fenced off well) and a shop/bar with crazy golf. Overall it is a site we loved staying at and would return to in a second.
Only downside is you definitely need a car as it is a bit remote. There is a fab beach within easy walking distance (think golden sands and blue water and lots of cafes, shops, newsagents etc.
There may not be lots to do for young children if the beach isn't their thang (can hire little boats etc though!)Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
