"This campsite is ideally located, a back entrance leads onto"
04-Dec-2010
This campsite is ideally located, a back entrance leads onto a small 'Enid Blyton' type beach. the sea is so shallow you can walk out a long way before it reaches your knees. The pitches are set amongst pine trees which provide the necessary shade on the sunniest days. The pool is large and managed well by the lifeguards. Great shops on site and good entertainment. Try visiting La Palmyre zoo a five minute drive away. It is the best in France and makes a marvellous day out for adults as well as kids. The restaurants in La Palmyre are all very good and welcome young children.

"The site is about six hours drive from Cherbourg and"
13-May-2008
The site is about six hours drive from Cherbourg and is on the South West coast with a lovely sandy beach (really deserted) a short drive away. Its a big site and so you do have to watch out for your kids but felt very safe in that you had to use swipe cards to get in etc. There are a lot of operators go there who all ran the kids clubs together which are mostly morning and included a variety of activities including little walks around the site, craft, games etc. The campsite also had a teen disco twice a week which was hilarious to watch! The site is set in a pine forest and most pitches were sandy and reasonably sized. The swimming complex is large, very clean with five slides and three pools with lots of life guards on hand plus several places to eat.
