Brilliant toy. We got one as a gift for our first child and purchased one for our second as we were so impressed. It was DS's favourite toy for around 2 years!

My LO wasn't sure of this when she was a newborn but has loved it since she was about 5mo. Hard to clean though - it still smells a bit of baby drool even though I've hand washed it loads!

30-Sep-2010
Great for keeping DS entertained, it was one of the few things he would always get into playing with and that would actually keep him quiet for a little while! One of the best toys he had at that age. Pity it didn't work for DD though - just proves that one toy doesn't fit all babies!

"Comments from other mumsnetters: A psychedelic octopus, with both black"
08-Sep-2010
Comments from other mumsnetters: A psychedelic octopus, with both black and white for newborns and colours for the older baby. "There is a lot to explore, with rattles and scrunchy pieces plus all the different textures and contrasting colours". "You can wrap it round the car seat handle, the cot, a chair and it keeps my baby amused for hours". "This was the only toy that kept the whole of my postnatal group's babies happy". "Definitely the best toy to stop a newborn crying".

"A new baby gift from some friends, we didn't think"
16-May-2010
A new baby gift from some friends, we didn't think much of it, but our son loved it from the beginning. The black and white side was good from birth, the squeaker is beloved and the dangly bits are perfect for chewing. I was surprised by how much he loves this.

"I bought dd4 a mini Whoozit activity toy to give"
07-Mar-2009
I bought dd4 a mini Whoozit activity toy to give her something to look at whilst in the pram, now she is a bit older she has started to take notice of the different textures and sounds it can make, it is also a firm favorite for my toddler who likes to look at herself in the mini mirror. The whoozit toys are always good quality and well made, we have some that are at least 18 months old but still look new.

"My DS loved his whoozit and now he is 3"
01-Mar-2009
My DS loved his whoozit and now he is 3 years old with a new baby sister, he has lovingly passed it on to her to play. Both my kids loved the dangley bits on this and the red nose, and my DD will not let it leave her side....I had to buy another one just so she would have a spare whenever the first one was getting cleaned up!!! A great fab toy.

"I thought this was a very strange and unattractive toy"
03-Nov-2008
I thought this was a very strange and unattractive toy when given it by a relation. However, my son loved this toy from as young as a couple of months. It transfixed him during nappy changing and delighted him when hung from his pram hood.

"We found Whoozit purely by accident but got the teething"
29-Mar-2008
We found Whoozit purely by accident but got the teething ring for the little one. He really loved it and it fascinated him...the best bit is the tiny squeak!
It is easy to wash and you can also put it in the fridge so as baby can gnaw on a cool teether.Read moreLess"Funny isn't it, I never saw the point of this"

Funny isn't it, I never saw the point of this toy until I rattled one in front of B one day when he was about 4 weeks old. He'd never taken much notice of toys before and his eyes LIT up and he gave it the BIGGEST gummy smile.
Obviously, I went straight out and bought one of our own!!
B just loves this toy and we've now got various other Whoozit toys as well. B likes chewing on the green triangle and sits with his thumbs poked through the doughnut shaped ones.
Really pleased I bought this toy. Definitely worth every penny and so much nicer than something plasticy that just makes a terrible noise!!Read moreLessMumsnetter Mattesdon

We loved this crazy thing! DS played with it for ages looking at the bright colours and feeling the different textures.
Possibly a bit expensive for a baby toy but DS did get alot of use out of it.Read moreLessMumsnetter Charlee

My son loved his whoozit from about three months. From then on it has served as a very compact portable toy that always provided plenty of entertainment. While he was teething, he disocvered the green crinkly triangle was perfect to chew on!

10/10. Whoozits have been a major part of my daughters life for the last 8 months. They are bright, full of features and have a lovely smile. Far better than half the plastic rubbish aimed at babies!
