"I bought this on the basis of MN reviews for"
02-Feb-2010
I bought this on the basis of MN reviews for DD first birthday. I would advise not to get one unless your DC is confident walking when they will be able to get off and on the wheelybug easily. If you wait until then to get one you may find buying the larger size a better option for long term use. My DD uses it occasionally at 14 months but more inclined to use a nasty plastic truck with noisy buttons than her beautiful wheelybug! I think she will get more out of it as she grows. Would suggest this as a 2nd birthday present rather than 1st depending on your DCs stage of development.

"before my daughter could walk unaided she was running around"
22-Dec-2009
before my daughter could walk unaided she was running around the room with this. it was a definite favourite toy. around a year on now, it's lost a wheel thanks to being thrown down the stairs but she still plays with it regularly and wheelybug have promised that a new wheel will be on its way to me soon.

"this was the best 1st birthday present and is still"
01-Oct-2009
this was the best 1st birthday present and is still going strong even though dd1 is now 2.3yo! We did have to hide it for a while as she preferred using wheely wheels to walking!

"I bought the small one for my daughter for chrismas"
13-Mar-2009
I bought the small one for my daughter for chrismas and at 14mths old it was too small for her. I was able to exchange it for the large one and I can see it will have years of play ahead. A really well made sturdy toy.

"The Ladybird Wheelybug was my daughters 1st birthday present, and"
27-Feb-2009
The Ladybird Wheelybug was my daughters 1st birthday present, and a year on it is still her favourite toy. She was unable to ride on it until she was about 20 months old, but has enjoyed it in many other ways before that. She initially liked to push it around as she crawled, then she used it as a walker. It's a great toy and I'm sure my daugter would thoroughly recommend it.

"Brilliant! good toy, the spuds do not hurt. Does not"

Brilliant! good toy, the spuds do not hurt.
Does not have an age advisory notice!!! is good for 10 year olds to have fun with and the doubling up as a water pistol is a very good idea.Read moreLess"We'll have had the Wheelybug for 3 years this Christmas."

We'll have had the Wheelybug for 3 years this Christmas. It's still perfect despite being crashed around and even employed as a skateboard at times. And so gorgeous, popular with children of all ages; even my 9 yr old manages to whizz down the passageway on it!

"DS loves his bee and whizzes around on the wooden"
23-Oct-2008
DS loves his bee and whizzes around on the wooden floor, not sure how it goes on carpets. Very sturdy and well made. He likes this best of all his ride on toys.

"My boys love their wheely bugs. My 18 month learnt"
18-Apr-2008
My boys love their wheely bugs. My 18 month learnt to walk holding on to this as it's a perfect height and also weighty so it didn't topple. My 3 year old has the large bee and they love zooming around on these together, perfect for wooden floor! Although my 3 year old has outgrown the small one it's so solid and robust he still enjoys it. www.bamboomoomoo.co.uk have a wheely bug competition closing 1st May
