Symphony-In-Motion Mobile, Tiny Love

just browsing the reviews section & saw this, and i am moved to post as i loved it soooo much!

when DS was just born, i hesitated over a mobile, and must have browsed through hundreds online trying to find one that i liked, but so many are beige mud coloured and frankly geared to decor, not to the baby.

I stumbled on this one and fell in love - Tiny Love is a great brand everything i've got them them has been perfectly designed for babies, they really do excel at translating baby development theory (physical and psychological) into well designed and robust toys. can't say enough in praise of them!

yes, this mobile is not what you'd call subtle, but as little ones can't see and then later just aren't interested in dull pastels, thats a good thing. Still going strong as a musical box (without the mobile bit attached) at 2.5 yrs

One of the best things we bought for our baby!

When she was small it was just fascinating watching her watching it, as she got bigger it was a sure-fire way to get her to go down for her nap. By the time she got to about 5 or 6 months she was fed up with the animals going around and so I took the mobile part away. But, and this is the best bit, you can leave the music box in place and putting on the music still sends her to sleep! We think we have conditioned her to hear the music and off she goes.

It is great to have a product that outlasts its initial usefulness in this way.

However, I bought mine second hand from ebay and after daily use for 4 or 5 months the motor became very noisy. This wasn't a problem for long as baby was getting fed up with it by then anyway, but it is worth noting that it has a limited lifespan.

My baby loves this mobile ... And we've tried several. He kicks around happily underneath this for a full 20 minutes allowing me to have a shower and a cup of tea :) when we came back from a recent holiday I could him sigh with pleasure when I put him underneath his mobile.

Absolutely brilliant!! We were going to buy a cream/beige coloured mobile to match our ds's cot bedding but got bought this one instead and am so pleased we did as my baby boy loves it and gets so excited when he sees his 'friends' go round! It has been great from when he was only just over a month old (think the black swirls were fascinating to him)until now (8 months) but have had to move it to end of cot so he doesnt try to grab it! Am trying to put off taking it down as he will miss it so much but think the time is coming soon! Would definitely recommend!

This product is a must-have. I was very sceptical generally of 'plastic crap', but this was well worth the money as it keeps my little one occupied for ages and he gets SO excited. Get one!

Absolutely amazing product! Able to get washed and dressed in the time it takes to play all the tunes. This, and the Clip and Go musical mobile are life savers.

This is an absolute must. I can put my baby underneath it and it keeps him occupied while I go and do something else. Also, I put him under it when it his naptime & he watches the mobile until he drops off. He absolutely loves it. We went away for a few days and when I put him under his mobile when we got back, he screamed with excitement at having it to look at again. The classical tunes are very gentle to listen to and haven't driven me mad, even through I must listen to them many times each day for the past few months. I can't recommend this item more highly.

Absolute must! I read about it in Jules Oliver's book - she said she'd like to dedicate a whole chapter to this mobile and I couldn't agree more. It is brightly coloured but also has vivid black and white patterns for the younger baby. There's loads on Ebay and it will be the best investment you make for the 0-6 month old. Get one!
