"Incredible!…"
21-Sep-2012
We received this as a present when my little one was a few weeks old. I am not exaggerating when I say it was life changing - instantly he was amused for hours & I was able to be free long enough to shower etc without him screaming the house down. On many occasion when he has been grizzly & tired and we have tried all the usual suspects (feeding, changing etc) we put him under this & INSTANTLY he is quiet & within a few minutes he is asleep.
He was initially mesmerised by the lights but as he got older began bashing the toys & even used the arms to push his legs against & (sort of) achieve his 1st roll.
However, he is now 4 months & he is getting bored with it & it has definitely lost its magic...we have been advised by the parents who bought it for us (after similar magical affects on their own baby), that it is time for us to move on to the Jumperoo......Read moreLessMumsnetter Bumblebeesmum

"The lights and music have kept my dd entertained since…"

The lights and music have kept my dd entertained since 4wks. The toys are detachable so can be taken on outings. She's not that interested in the toys though so I now hang Lamaze toys instead so she has more entertainment. Like the other reviewer, I would have liked a cushion for tummy time
The only real downside is that I can no longer get the annoying songs out of my head but as she's happy then so am I.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"This Gym has managed to keep my son occupied since…"
23-Sep-2010
This Gym has managed to keep my son occupied since 3 weeks of age - he is now 4 months and still enjoying it. The light show and monkey mirror have always been a hit and he is increasingly enjoying batting/eating the other jungle animals.
The songs do get a little annoying - (versions of animal fair, twinkle twinkle and Frere Jaques)but the rainforest sound option makes pleasant background noise.
The bright pictures on the mat have been a hit at tummy time - however the one thing which would make the mat beter would be if it came with a tummy time prop me up cushion.Read moreLessMumsnetter Sparksters

"Received this as a gift and it was an instant…"
27-Nov-2008
Received this as a gift and it was an instant hit. DS transfixed by the light show while I listen to soothing rainforest noises and imagine I'm in a spa. There is an annoying music setting but won't be listening to that! As DS is getting older (5 months) she's playing more with the toys (that are detachable) - she pulls herself up and hangs off them which is amusing. Seems quite pricey but worth it for us as ds can be left to amuse herself under it while I work. My niece on the other hand is not interested at all so guess it depends on the child as to whether this will work for them.
