"Fantastic Toy!"
04-May-2012
Well worth the money, from about 3.5 months DD was able to enjoy this keeps her entertained. Really easy to pop them in and out, so great if you suddenly have a toddler emergency (eg potty) to deal with and need somewhere safe and entertaining to leave the baby.

"I'd rather sell my car than be without the jumperoo."
31-Jul-2011
I'd rather sell my car than be without the jumperoo. I swear DS would be in it all day if I'd let him. We got it when he was about 5 months (ish). He is now 10 months and still loves it. Great buy! It is big, but the enjoyment my son gets out of it is well worth it. Plus you can always shove it in the cupboard under the stairs at the end of the day!

"My sister gave this to us, I would never have"
02-Apr-2011
My sister gave this to us, I would never have bought anything this big. The major downsides are how much floor space it takes up and the cost. Floor space is more than compensated for by just how much my daughter (almost 6 months) loves this. It has plenty of varied toys for baby, the music is less annoying than it could be, it feels safe and secure, baby is comfortable and it doesn't blaze through batteries. With regard to the cost, it is a lot of money, but there is nothing else quite like this on the market so it's hard to say if it's fair or not. Although I wouldn't have ever bought this, I would replace it in a flash if it broke. I think that says it all.

"We bought this for christmas for our nearly 4mth son"
02-Jan-2011
We bought this for christmas for our nearly 4mth son after seeing such good reviews for it everywhere. I can honestly say in the 9 days its been up he has absolutely loved every minute he spends in it! The activities are great for his age and he is - just - tall enough to bounce himself and the squeals of delight tell the whole story really. He's not worked out how to turn himself yet or what to do with everything so there is plenty of scope for learning and more fun as he grows. I will be happy if his enjoyment lasts 6 months til he is more mobile. I feel it is expensive at £90ish from new in our opinion it is well worth the money.

"i bought this for my son when he was about"
05-Oct-2010
i bought this for my son when he was about 5 months old. at first he loved it, but when he got to about 9 months he didn't want to be in it. I dont think he liked the restriction of being hemmed in. a sturdy toy, colourful, but a lot of money, for a few months pleasure

"I bought this for my baby boy at 4months old"
06-Aug-2010
I bought this for my baby boy at 4months old and he loved it and i did too. after 4 kids i can say this is the best thing ive ever had wish id of had it for all 4:(. Keeps my son amuzed and gives me time to get "mummy" things done e.g housework or wee cuppa! my sister also bought one for her baby and she loves it too both mum and baby! id say this is a must have although its big its not too big and as for it being to big to store (which i disagree with but maybe its just coz av got a big cupboard) u wont need to store it as ur baby will love to be in it ud be wasting time storing it becoz wont be away for long til ur getting it back out... id say to anyone give it a try 100% mum (dad) and baby will love it! and for 89.99 its a bargain!!

"Brilliant. We originally bought the Mamas & Papas own-brand version"
24-Jul-2010
Brilliant. We originally bought the Mamas & Papas own-brand version but we're taking it back and we've bought the Jumperoo instead as my 4-month-old daughter loves it. Pricey but worth every penny.

"My baby has had one since she was 3 months"
30-Apr-2010
My baby has had one since she was 3 months and able to hold her head up well. She had to have a thick cushion under her feet to begin with, but now her legs have grown longer she can bounce with just a folded towel under her feet. She really enjoys being in it and is able to turn around and bat at all the toys. She also just likes to just sit in it and look out the window. Her trunk control and leg strength has really increased since we have put her in the bouncer. I would recommend it. However it does take up a lot of room

"Bought this for my DD. She liked it a little"
07-Apr-2010
Bought this for my DD. She liked it a little but did not like being contained and was desperate to crawl and walk.
If i had bought this for my DS 3.5 when he was a baby he would have loved it.
Brill toy really nice and we bought the newer one whose name i cant quite remember but it was just an updated model of this one.Read moreLessMumsnetter Nettiespagetti

"My baby loves his Jumperoo. We got it when he"
09-Dec-2009
My baby loves his Jumperoo. We got it when he was just over 3 months and he took to it immediately and got the hang of turning around after a couple of weeks. It is important to adjust the height to fit. If you find the music annoying you don't have to switch it on, baby will find it just as entertaining although probably won't squeal with delight as he will when the music is on. There are two types of Jumperoo, one has a monkey seat and the other has a crocodile. We prefer the crocodile which has better toys. I'd suggest going to a big mothercare to try one out before you buy if you are unsure, it's quite pricey but worth every penny. I was unsure about it because it looks like a plastic monstrosity but when you see how excited your little one is in it, you will have to have it.

"a bit pricey, and a bit bigger than I thought"
06-Oct-2009
a bit pricey, and a bit bigger than I thought it would be. I bought it for my son when he was 3 months. He can hold his head up extremely well which is why I bought it early for him as an alternative to lying down all the time. Even from that age he loved it, and try to bat the objects. Now he is 4 months he gets even more enjoyment out of it. a good buy

"I cannot praise this product enough. I deliberated about getting"
28-Jul-2009
I cannot praise this product enough. I deliberated about getting one because of the high price tag but so glad I did. My little girl loves it and it can keep her entertained and safe whilst I get a few chores done. The resale value also remains high and they seem to go for at least half their original value on auction sites.

"this was a pricey investment but boy was it worth"
28-Sep-2008
this was a pricey investment but boy was it worth it - our son loves it and will happily bounce away ufor ages. its quite big but have a number of toys to stimulate that they can spin around to use - best baby buy thus far - especially onnce they begin to get bored with playmats and chairs

"Oh my gosh! We got the Rainforest Jumperoo based on"
07-Aug-2008
Oh my gosh! We got the Rainforest Jumperoo based on the reviews here and it is a HUGE hit. It took 1/2 hour to put together - mostly because I couldn't work out the illustration/instructions for the seat bit. I wanted a jumper and an activity station thingy and this is the best of both worlds. DS hasn't quite worked out that he can rotate the seat to reach the different activities but he most definitely HAS worked out the jumping. The only downside is the 20mins/day time limit. This is expensive toy but I think we're definitely going to get our money's worth.

"We have the rainforest jumperoo & even thoughit's a bit"
23-Mar-2008
We have the rainforest jumperoo & even thoughit's a bit pricey it's fantastic!! My son is 5 months & absolutely loves it. Within 2 minutes of 1st putting him in it he worked out how to bounce and hasn't really stopped bouncing since. He has also just worked out that you have to bounce to make the lights and music come on and is very proud of himself when he does. I cannot reccomend this enough, I only wish they made them in adult size as it looks so much fun I wanna go.

"We loved this. The principle is the same as a"
15-Jul-2007
We loved this. The principle is the same as a doorway bouncer, but on a frame with toys lights and sounds. Felt a lot safer though is admittedly a bit bulky to store. Only problem was trying to convince baby to come out as advises no more than 20 mins at a time - he'd have stayed in all day!
