"not happy at all :(…"
13-Mar-2013
We had the FARM one for our daughter who is over 2 years old now and she still plays in it!
I've bought the JUNGLE one and I'm very dissapointed - the cover is NOT COTTON as it use to be,
now it's SYNTHETIC. I'm not going to use it, that's why 1 star - one nice thing about it - bold, lovely pictures.
I have emailed to the Galt costumer service asking about exchange, but nobody has contacted me.
Packed back in the box, sold it on ebay.Read moreLessMumsnetter IlonaE

"Disappointed, very synthetic material…"
31-Oct-2012
I saw glowing reviews on here which surprised me - this was a great disappointment to me - it is very synthetic, it got a puncture, my son (who was very strong) pushed so hard against the sides he catapulted out. I haven't even bothered to get it out for my daughter.

"Much better than overhead gyms for small babies…"
19-May-2012
We bought the playnest when baby was a few weeks old as she didn't seem comfortable on the other gym. The playnest is perfect, it semi inflates for newborns and they can be safely propped up on it, it's a lovely place to pop her in and have a chat with her, as she prefers to move freely and doesn't like to be held for too long! It has lots of different textures and sounds, we go around the different animals on it and do the sounds for her, she loves it and is always happy when she is in there. She is three months old and I know I will get lots more use out of it, great value for money.

As others have already said, the playnest itself is wonderful but the overhead gym will not stay up. Being the crafty mum I am ; ) I'm going to get some bendy plastic hose pipes to replace the poles they provide, since LO loves the hanging toys.

Comments from other mumsnetters: "Perfect for popping in a baby that has starting to roll over". "The overhead mobiles keep them amused once they start trying to sit up". "Great for when they are beginning to sit by themselves but are a bit wobbly - instead of landing with a crash on a hard floor - they land on the padded cushions" plus there are "lots of different patterns and textures to amuse them while they're in it". "The most useful item I have for my six month old".

"A playnest ring is fantastic for when your baby can't…"
01-Nov-2009
A playnest ring is fantastic for when your baby can't quite sit up alone, because you can prop them up. Then when they can sit up, you can pop them in there with a couple of toys if you have to nip to the other room for a minute. Very handy.

23-Mar-2008
The inflateable ring is great as there is lots to look at and different textures to explore. The overhead baby gym however is useless!! The poles are very hard to join together and the slightest tug from your baby pulls them out too so we just removed them and use the ring by itself.

08-Mar-2008
These inflatable rings are well worth the money - perfect for young babies, up to about 6 months, especially when they are starting to sit up but need some support behind them in case of falling. Everyone should have one!
