There isn't much that will keep my DS occupied for long, but this is great. At nearly 2, he's not really nimble-fingered enough to play with Play-Doh without 'ideas' and being able to squash stuff in and make cute imprints keeps him happy for a good hour at a time - but it's not something I could leave him to for long as you do need some force to squash the play-doh down. And the little bit in the front where it's all supposed to come out isn't that firmly secure so it can squash out and push the body of the octopus up. I find it OK to clean, I just use some other play-doh to get any scraps off other parts but I would say it's something to do with your child, rather than leave them to.Read moreLess

This and other playdoh toys like this are rubbish. They're difficult to work as you need to use a certain amount of force, and they're really difficult to clean afterwards. DD (3) got frustrated very quickly. Possibly better for older children? Stick to plain old tubs of playdoh and maybe some cutters.Read moreLess

Loads of fun for the kids, plenty to keep them occupied, and very durable. The only gripe is that it's very difficult to clear out the play-doh once you are finished.Read moreLess
