My first Skalextric, Hornby

Got this for my son for his 3rd birthday, he was so excited and we out it up. After 10 min it was enough. May be he needs to be older then 3 to play properly. At the monent it comes out of box and takes while mummy put it together then he will spend no more then 10 min. Therefore i rate it only 5 out of 10

My Son was desperate to get this and so was Daddy! It worked ok, but we were miffed to find that grandma managed to get a similar set, but without the 'scalextric' name for

Great for boys who love racing. Skalextric is timeless and so can get lots of use by being handed down. This is a good set for little ones as quite hard to damage although my 4 year old had a good try by pulling off the metal contact wires as soon as the box was opened.

Only downside is that the crash barriers don't stay on very well which can get quite annoying when your child insists on them all being in place.

A compact and easy to use kit, ideal for boys and girls who are racing car fans.
