we just bought a rattle toy consisting of many linked plastic rings of different colours - it is easy for our 4mth old to shake and to chew on...but best of all, it was from Morrisons supermarket, and it was 72p. The best toys don't have to be the most expensive...it links onto her play gym 'linkies' too, what a bargain!
