Classic Draughts, Game zone

I got giant Draughts which are great as the counters are a lot larger and so less likely to get eaten by the younger family members.

The draughts come with a simple plastic mat that can be used inside on the front room or bedroom floor or even better in the garden which is great.

every thing is plastic so wipe clean and the kids love stacking the counters and building towers with them too..
this is like the ones I got but, I cant remember where they came from I think they were a gift!!

My son is 6 and can understand what to do (even if he hasn't quite mastered thinking ahead to outsmart me). It is a good game for getting him thinking and he often asks me if we can play.
Much much better than looking at a computer screen or tv!

This is a fantastic game for children aged 5 and over.
It teaches strategy, and has so many permutations it doesn't get boring.
It is also good preparation for chess.
