Comments from other mumsnetters: "If you have a child that likes construction but is perhaps to young for things like Mechano, I think the Brio builder system is brilliant"."My son has played with this on a fairly regular basis for about two years now", "the little tools, with pegs, nuts and bolts to help you put the things together are perfect for small hands". "Some adult help is necessary to begin with but my son now gets great pleasure from being able to follow the instructions himself, although I have to admit that I quite like helping him anyway!"
"A good toy to help you and your child work together and definitely helps hand/eye co-ordination"!Read moreLessMumsnetter RachelMumsnet

Easily my 3 year old son's favourite toy. He frequently spends 30 minutes or more on his own constructing a myriad of vehicles while I do jobs around the house which he then comes to show me.

my son has 2 sets of these. he absolutely loves them. You put them together using plastic hammer/pliers supplied. You can build them as per the designs on the box or use your imagination. If you have a little boy who likes taking things apart and putting them back together again, I would recommend these. They are not cheap (about £20 per set) but they are wooden toys and therefore they are very durable.
