The most striking thing about a Fijit Friend is the loud robot voice it has. I found it annoying after a while and you cannot turn down the volume as it yells various phrases such as 'What do you want to do?' and 'You look fabulous!'. However 5yo DD adores it and it is quite clever that it responds to what you say to it, even as far as telling a knock knock joke, although it can take some practice to get the timing right because you have to speak when its little red light is on. It also dances to music, either music your child can put on or if you ask it to it will play its own inbuilt music and then dance/wiggle very energetically around.

It is made out of a rubber/silicone type material, which is nice and squishy but can also get easily marked which is a downside. I wonder if the material might even break through with more play.

You need to replace the batteries quickly as the ones it comes with are only demo batteries.
DD has played with her new Fijit Friend lots, so its a hit with her even if I do wish you could turn it down slightly!Read moreLess
