"boom by name boom by nature…"
Furbys have come a long way. From creepy little toys years ago with strange little faces to quite cute and very fluffy.
If you want a toy that makes your house feel like a piltergeist is visiting, this is the one for you. It is guaranteed to scare you when no one is in the house. You hear a noise in the middle of the night and see it sitting there, eyes glowing in the dark. When your children say the batteries are dead so you go to change them and it springs to life in your hands, almost making you land In the mop bucket.
A toy that has everyone loving it. Except you. Because you know the truth. It's out to get you. The family see a cute, giggling toy. Yet when it's alone with you it's voice changes and it almost twists it head 360 degrees.
Get one. Kids love them. My advice is to buy lots of rechareable batteries. If you don't, people will accuse you of not liking the little demon.
Hours of entertainment and it will keep you on your toes.Read moreLess
"Have to keep putting her in the biscuit tin, but we love her really!…"
Dd (aged 10) claims that Furby (the same spotty one as the pic above) is her favourite present of all time (and we have a lot of things that squeak and squawk and have to be unplugged or shoved under cushions) Very very cute, until you irritate it at which point it starts talking in a hideous teenage "neh neh" American drawl and you have to spend an hour (with onlookers thinking you are complete whackster) soothing it's fluffy ego and coaxing it back to its normal happy go lucky self. Apparently the app does amazing things together with Furbs, but as we are in furrinland, we have to wait until Christmas in the UK to test that out. Bought her when they were on offer in October at £38, but would probably pay the full price, dd is definitely getting her money's worth.Read moreLess

"Recommended if you get a good price!…"
I bought the pink furby boom with the white spots for £35 pounds and for this price I would recommend it.
My daughter, who is 3 years old, loves it its soft enough to cuddle and stroke.
The colours are bright and to be honest I think it’s quite cute.
It’s very robust and can be thrown about without any damage (so far).
The app on the iPhone is a good touch. My daughter is able to feed and wash furby on her own and I’m sure older children could navigate the whole app easily.
NO OFF SWITCH OR VOLUME.
It’s a bit annoying after a while.
My app does not work on the ipad.Read moreLess
