"Picture quality isn't brilliant…"
The picture quality isn't brilliant, but my daughter loves this item. It's simple to use and used fairly often, so it was money well spent.
It eats batteries, so worth using rechargeable ones.Read moreLess
"Better to buy a cheap 'proper' camera…"
The idea for a rugged camera that's easy to look through seemed good. But the pictures are really poor quality, it can't cope with low light settings and when the A4 batteries run out it wipes the memory completely. Added to that, the selection wheel broke so you can't always get the option required (photo/video/editing etc) we have really not been impressed.Read moreLess

DS1 loves this! It is quite a basic camera and doesn't take brilliant quality pictures, but he has had it for a few years now and it is still growing strong and taking many a blurry close up of bits of lego. He's heaped lots of abuse on it without causing any problems. It eats batteries, though, so get rechargables for it.Read moreLess
