"Bad quality product…"
08-Oct-2012
I bought it on my 20 week of pregnancy and had to return it after 14 days as it did not help me at all. The support for the legs didn't seem quite right. When lying on your left, the leg pillow feels quite long, but it still only supports your knees and keeps them apart which is no good for the pelvis.
I have found a wonderful good quality pillow on ebay( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MATERNITY-PREGNANCY-BREASTFEEDING-BODY-SUPPORT-PILLOW-/130779334830?pt=UK_Baby_Maternity_Pregnancy_MJ&var=&hash=item6423e2f1a7) that is absolutely wonderful so far!!!Read moreLessMumsnetter BigtummyLiana

"Well I did not think it was worth the money…"
26-Aug-2010
Well I did not think it was worth the money almost immediately. I liked the support it gave when I was falling asleep however when I woke up in the night, I could not turn around with it or easily move it on to the other side. Also I though that the long bendy bit was bending too much as I preferred to have something between my knees and not thighs. So eventually after a while i gave up and used normal pillows instead as those you can kick away when you do not need them.
For the BF part, it was a bit clumsy but the long part was quite nice to put behind my back. However it is not high enough so I always had to have another pillow under it too. Again I think I gave up on it after trying two normal pillows instead.
The cover was very poor quality. After me removing it for washing, it tore on a few places in seams.
Over all, I am selling it now as I will not use it again in my current pregnancy.

The Dreamgenii pillow was a godsend! I was able to lie on my left and feel supported and comfortable. It also made a very good breastfeeding support pillow so I felt like I really had my money's worth.

Great pregnancy pillow - well worth the investment even if a bit pricey.
I loved that it helped to keep you on your left to get the baby into a good birth position.
Very soft, the new covers they do are lovely, and there is a helpful youtube clip to show you how to use it.
Very tricky to get the cover on and off, but other than that no real problems.
Supports back, bump and hips - and also can be used for breastfeeding and folded into a tiny prop for v little ones.

I loved this pillow it didn't take up loads of room in the bed and it supported me in all the right places it also enabled me to half sleep on my tummy as I normally only sleep on my front. I also used it after when sitting it helped support my back and also as a breast feeding/bottle feeding cushion so quite versitile.

10 out of Ten! I bought one of these for a friend of mine when she was pregnant last year and she raved about it. She returned the favour to me a few weeks ago and I now understand why she loved it so much. Thanks Jen!

Very Good Support
Pros: the pillow is very comfortable and supports your bump and the small of your back. It also encourages you to lie on your left side which is supposed to be best for mother and baby.
Cons: The cover can be a little difficult to put on after washing.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

The BEST Thing I have Bought
There are lots of maternity products that you I live without - This isn't one of them! I couldn't sleep for weeks and bought in order: a V Pillow and then a bump Wedge - all were completely useless and ended up giving me aching hips and back. The Dreamgenii was a last minute decision as it is a bit pricey but believe me IT IS Worth it!I have slept like a dream since . GENIIOUS!!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"At first this seemed the answer to my spd sleeping…"
09-Mar-2009
At first this seemed the answer to my spd sleeping problems. It supported my bump and back very well.
But I really didn't get on with the long bit. The way it is designed I couldn't turn over and have it between my legs still. In the end I didn't use it between my legs and just used a normal pillow for that instead. I now have a Jojomamanbebe double sided bump pillow, which works better for me.
DH was also put out by the size of the pillow, the pillow plus pg me meant that he had hardly any room in our double bed.
Pros: Supports bump and back well
Cons: it doesn't need to have the long bit because you can't turn over if you use it. It pushes your partner out of bed.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

"I was the only pregnant lady I know who slept…"
26-Feb-2009
I was the only pregnant lady I know who slept perfectly right until the day my waters broke and I think this pillow helped a lot with that! It really supported my bump. As it is a bit over priced and it's hard to find a cheaper one, it would be a great gift, You can also get new covers, I think, if you want to pass on a second hand one.
If anything could be improved, I'd make it a bit firmer, as there wasn't quite enough filling in the pillow.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

22-Feb-2009
This does offer useful support along/under your bump and between legs - I do use it every night and get great use from it. BUT I'm not sure that regular pillows couldn't do the same thing - quite pricey and so probably not 'necessary', but a nice added luxury. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the pillow case on - don't bother buying it.

20-Feb-2009
I bought this pillow becuase it had won some awards. It was OK, but my friend bought a much better one that was considerably fatter and went all the way around you (massive upside down 'u' shape). I found the dream genii was a bit too skinny and so didnt raise my leg up enough come the end. The plus side is that it doubles up as a feeding support cushion. Overall it was a rather bland 'ok' but if I was doing t over I would buy a different cushion.

"I bought this as I was getting a sore back…"
04-Jan-2009
I bought this as I was getting a sore back at night. It was quite useful, but only on one side (really annoying to try & use on both sides if you change sides during the night as I do), so I ended up putting a normal pillow on the other side. I think that it is rather expensive for what it is and normal pillows work just as well and provide more support for your knees & thighs.

"At first glance, the pillow is a very weird shape…"
21-Dec-2007
At first glance, the pillow is a very weird shape but the idea of this is to ensure you stay on your left hand side and don't roll over on to your back (as when you lie on your back the womb presses on a major artery).
I still manage to roll on my back but soon woke up as it was so
uncomfortable so it works!
It's great to cuddle and much cooler than DH who makes me far too hot!
The long support is brilliant to keep my legs comfy and can imagine that as I get bigger having it under the bump will be much comfier.
It is quite large though, so if you've got a smallish double bed it
may be intrusive. Also I sleep on the right hand side of the bed which makes it quite tricky to maneouvre out of the way for my 3am pitstop when I'm half asleep.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
