ow I'm no glamour-puss and do think that these are not cheap BUT I cannot tell you how fabulous they are and really worth spending that little bit extra on.
I bought one in grey.....oooh yum! Then one in black....oooh want more! Then one in tan... They are the warmest most snuggly, versatile pieces of clothing I have and when baby arrives this September, he will be snug-as-a-(baby) bug-in-a-rug snuggled beneath plus they are brilliant for elegant breast feeding. I wear mine as shawls but also as sort of funky cardigans too. Love love love. More colours please Casha!Read moreLessMumsnetter katieFried

"I love this poncho which is perfect for all occasions!…"

I love this poncho which is perfect for all occasions! Pre-pregnancy it was perfect for socialsing in those early winter evenings - elegant but still warm. During pregnancy it has been the perfect accessory to throw on at work, when out or at home when relaxing. It's rare to find something that is warm and cosy, yet still elegant - particularly when pregnant!

My husband bought me a black Casha poncho for Christmas and it's become an absolute essential. I wear it nearly everyday at some point. So lovely and soft, folds up so can be popped into your handbag. I love, love love it and would like to buy the other colours but black is fantastic.

"Am a huge fan of these ponchos - I own…"

Am a huge fan of these ponchos - I own a couple and have given several as gifts.
Whether for a new mum, a pregnant pal or just a very good friend, they are fabulous. Really super gifts to give at Christmas, Mother's Day, birthdays, whatever - and all nicely wrapped too so that is one less job to do. Bonus.
The ponchocs themselves are very warm, luxurious, look extremely stylish and travel excellently. I can't recommend them enough. Sadly have misplaced one of mine (the black one - my personal favourite of the colours) but I am hoping it will turn up in one of travel bags in a few days - the perfect pillow/blanket/adult comforter to take on any trip.
Enjoy having one and definitely be sure to share with those who are really special.Read moreLessMumsnetter stephjb

My husband offered me a sat nav for Christmas (zzz) and I pointed him in the right direction!
This poncho is utterly gorgeous and I have lived in it since - better still, you wouldn't know as it still looks as fresh as on Christmas day.
I chose black and lots of people have stroked me (mmmm...)snuggled up to me (even more welcome) and been green with jealousy. I'm not pregnant but it would look just as good if that was the case.
A very, very luxurious present indeed so guys take note.Read moreLessMumsnetter JoJoLoon

"A bit of a left-field gift, but just so useful…"

A bit of a left-field gift, but just so useful and fab. This lovely cashmere poncho is nothing like the acrylic jobs your great aunts used to crochet for you in the '70's (or was that just me?). It comes in three colourways (but we went for black - so slimming when pregnant (hmm?) It's soft and silky as well as warm and cosy, with a nice wide neck and a good length. Perfect for covering a bump at any stage, it would work for pretty much any season apart from hot summers (and let's face it they don't come along v often. It's probably the only bit of pregnancy clothing you won't mind wearing post-birth (as it won't be stretched beyond recognition) and it should also come in handy for discreet breastfeeding. We bought it for my pregnant sister (and then bought one for myself and I'm not even pregnant) and she loved it. It's not a cheap gift though so one for a very good friend or family member (or yourself) or one to club together and buy for a colleague or friend. Highly recommended.
