Good novelty value but I have bought 2 and they are both now trashed - due to repeated putting up & down by my boys (2 & 4). Also if it is actually raining its a nightmare to try & manouevre child + umbrella - cant hold their hands to cross the road, cant get them in the buggy , cant pick them up. So maybe good for pottering in the garden, but not for actually going anywhere. BUT they really love them....!

Now I can be just like Mummy! Hang on, when has ds ever seen me with an umbrella? I haven't used one since he was born - I can't push a buggy, hold a toddler's hand and hold an umbrella up all at the same time! Still, it makes him very happy. Just make sure to get a transparent one so that you can still keep an eye on him, and one with little balls on the ends of the ribs to save eyes.
