"This chair was fantastic. I asked my sister for a…"

This chair was fantastic. I asked my sister for a plain bouncer and was a bit aghast when she produced this all-singing all-dancing affair but I can honestly say it was utterly wonderful. So well designed. From very young my daughter could sit in this reclining chair watching us while we ate our dinner. The chair could vibrate gently to sooth her and play music - a gentle mix of classical and traditional nursery rhymes that didn't jarr or grate. There is a volume control too! Above the baby's head is a rotating mirror with black and white shapes to capture new baby's attention - and around the edge are rattle shapes that Baby was reaching for when she was older (This folds down out of the way when not in use).
The chair also has two flaps that hold a rattling bear and a bee. (Again these can be folded down for when baby is flailing with no arm control). At first baby stares at the bee and bear, then later reaches and bashes them and finally is grabbing and shaking them herself. You can set the music to constant (about a 10-15 minute cycle) or later - baby movement activated.
This product is so well designed I can't praise it enough. Suitable from new-born right up until they can sit up themselves. This chair meant I could have my dinner in peace with a happy baby close by watching us. Bliss.Read moreLessMumsnetter BonzoDoodah
