A very good friend, sent these to us after our son was born, after someone had sent them to her. They were absolutely delicious, a real treat and appreciated by everyone who came near. I'm not sure what was the biggest draw in fact, our son or the muffins and biscuits.Read moreLess

"When my youngest granddaughter was born 18 months ago I…"
When my youngest granddaughter was born 18 months ago I was devestated to be in hospital at the time and couldn't go and see her, the contrary cuss decided to arrive a week early otherwise I would have cancelled the minor operation just to be able to visit her as quickly as possible. I was also very disappointed that I was unable to go shopping for a congratulations gift for my daughter and son in law. I'm afraid I got a little tearful and the nurse who came to chat with me suggested a company called eden4hampers.co.uk as she knew from when my daughter came to visit me previously that she would always buy herself and my granddaughters' a muffin from the hospital shop - this nurse had actually ticked me off for eating one of the muffins whilst filling in my diabetic menu sheet!
eden4hampers.co.uk is an offshoot of eden4flowers.co.uk and specialise in quality hampers that are sent through the post directly to the recipient. The nurse had used the site on several occasions and offered to order me a hamper online to be sent to my daughter and I would give her the money, this wasn't inappropriate as I have been treated by this lovely lady for many years and have seen her outside of the hospital too so I see her as a friend and hopefully she does too. The following day she arrived with a handful of print outs from eden4hampers and I set about choosing, it didn't take me long as I had already decided I wanted a muffin hamper all I had to do was decide on the size of the hamper.
I eventually chose a basket of 25 muffins which costRead moreLess

"What a God-send this gift was. My SIL who is…"
What a God-send this gift was. My SIL who is normally quite impractical as far as gifts are concerned sent me one of these after DS1 was born. I was tired, and sore, and in no mood to ensure I had biscuits etc in stock for visitors.
The basket came from www.beverlyhillsbakery.co.uk, and rather than leave them just for visitors, they were a great sugar and energy boost for me, particularly in the first few days when you don't feel like eating. You can freeze them and they only take 30 mins or so to defrost, so no change of having to throw them away (although they are so yummy it was difficult not to eat them all in one sitting). I send them to every new parent I know!!!!Read moreLess
