"Really love it…"
I bought one of these after watching my friend use one and I couldn't be without it now.It feels nice and soft but light(on me and the baby) and the ridged bit that sticks out lets me look down and see what's going on without using hands to lift the top of it up. It also goes on and off easily and is big enough even now my little one is getting quite big. I've used it almost daily for a good few months now and it's kept well so I will be able to use it with my next one!Read moreLess

Initially I thought this was great however on 2nd feed realised it's not. Basically my daughter lost her latch which meant milk spurted all over inside of scarf. The scarf showed the wet patch which was embarrassing, but not only that when washed the mark has not gone after 2 washes. This should be made to deal with this surely. ....Read moreLess
"Easy to use, really soft. Great for public breastfeeding…"
I bought this because I had a Bebe au lait breastfeeding cover which I hated because it was such a pain to carry around and the gaudy pattern just drew attention to me and distracted my son from feeding.
I almost gave up breastfeeding in public but I was due to travel abroad and really needed to get back into it so I bought this which I love and haven't stopped using it. As well as being a nursing cover it's also a scarf so when you're not feeding instead of it taking up room in your bag (which is pretty limited when you are travelling with a baby!) you can just put it round your neck and wear it as a pretty nice scarf. It's really soft too, a jersey material.
I looked at the Mamascarf and the Faye and lou butterfly but they looked a bit fiddly to be able to tie when you are holding your baby and they still take up room in your bag. This Mamamoosh one has a little strap that goes round your neck which I can easily do and hold my son at the same time (which is really essential in practice unless there's someone to pass your baby to or you put them in the buggy etc).
Some of my NCT friends just use a regular pashmina but I notice they are always hoiking them up as they tend to slip down and they have to keep lifting them up to peek at their baby feeding or get a bit of air down to them. This scarf has a sort of rigidy bit that sticks up off your chest when your feeding so I can look down and see the baby (but noone else can) and I don't have to worry about us both getting over heated as air can circulate a bit to my son.
I have to say this is one of my best baby buys so far and I've ended up buying it in another colour and also for my friend's baby shower gift who mentioned she was worried about feeding in front of the in-laws. The downside is it's not particularly cheap but it feels good quality.Read moreLess
