Being a mum has its challenges - especially when trying to juggle entertaining the kids whilst trying to do some jobs around town, waiting for appointments or actually trying to have an uninterrupted conversation with a friend over a cuppa. Of course the children need their time, and I would never advocate planting them in front of a television instead of interacting with them - but there are occasions when you may just be begging for a bit of distraction to get on with what you have to do.
That's where I found Standeazy, a nifty credit card sized smartphone stand, to be extremely handy. It lives in my wallet thus I always have it with me and when all else fails, out comes my smartphone and into the Standeazy it goes. My little ones can watch an episode of his favourite show (Mike the Knight is a hit at the moment) and there is no argument about who is holding the phone or who's pushing which button.
It's inexpensive and comes in a few different designs, some looking quite child friendly anyway. It may not have been designed for mothers but ever since I used it as my personal entertainment device during hours of breast feeding, I think every mum should have one in their arsenal!
