Mama Jewels Necklace

Like many new mums I stopped wearing necklaces as I didn't feel comfortable with my son pulling and chewing on something when I didn't know how clean or strong it was. I was given a Mama Jewels necklace in a gorgeous green colour which not only matches all my favourite frocks but is strong enough to withstand my son's pulling and chewing! I received a Mama Jewels necklace from my 5 month old ( thoughtful OH) for Christmas.
It was packaged in a gorgeous little box, and when I opened it I found a gorgeous beaded necklace with an oval shaped pendant with flower detailing on it. Mine is purple, but I believe it's available in different colours.
On examination the necklace looked delicate and feminine, but felt study and durable, so I was confident of its strength, as I knew my daughter would probably chew it and swing from it.
Each bead was individually threaded and knotted on, so IF it were to break ( unlikely given the intricate twisting and knotting of the thread), only one bead would be released.
I began wearing the necklace immediately and my daughter (now 8 months) has since enjoyed pulling it and and twisting it round her hand when feeding which has been a lifesaver as before that she used to scratch me or rub up painful red friction marks on my skin, and she also finds it a useful teether when her gums are sore.
My necklace is so attractive that even on the odd occasion when I am baby-free I don't take it off, because it simply looks like an attractive piece of jewellery.
I have received many compliments about my necklace and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to nursing mothers who want something to prevent their baby from hurting the skin on their chest when feeding, and also for those mums who have reached the notoriously difficult stage of 5-7 months where baby is too interested in the world around them to feed without becoming distracted- fondling the necklace seems to aid concentration.
An excellent product, and would make a fab gift for any new mum, or a mum who has been nursing an infant for a while.

I was given some Mama Jewels when my son was born 7 months ago and I love them so much! My little boy loves to play with them while he is breastfeeding which is great because it means he isn't pulling my hair or pinching me or sticking his fingers up my nose ;) I don't have to worry about them being pulled too hard because they really are unbreakable!! My 4 yr old daughter loves them too and I am happy to let her play with them because I know that she can't break them! Well unless she takes a pair if scissors to them! They are really gorgeous and I have just been looking at the website and there are loads of new really stylish designs too! My sister recently had a baby and I had some delivered for her and she loves them!!! A really fab gift for a new Mum or just treat yourself! I will be doing over and over again ;)

I'd found Mama Jewels when I had my first daughter as I lost 4 different necklaces due to her grabbing them either when feeding or when I carried her. They are a bit pricier than some NN's but worth it. My Mama Jewels nursing necklace looks great with most outfits, my daughter finds it fascinating and loves tugging and chewing it, & it doesn't break! I've just ordered my 2nd. I brought one of these for Christmas and have just ordered two more. I hated when my DS was born and I couldnt wear jewellery anymore as he used to tug at it the whole time - these are just perfect - highly recommend, they are not stuffy and really up to date designs. Highly recommend

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. My baby daughter loves playing with it the light refracts from it and entrances her and i just wish i had thought of the idea myself. Am going to buy as a present for every new mum i know.

I love my Mama Jewels necklaces and so do my two active boys! It is great to be able to accessorize an outfit and feel like my old self without having to worry about what might get pulled or broken. Loved your idea of the childproof jewellery, pity it hadn't been around when I had my son, but I get to buy it this time round with my daughter. I just love the fact that the designs are fashionaable and my daughter loves grabbing it when feeding. Great idea

Love this necklace that I wear every day! My LO loves to fiddle while she is feeding and it saves my hair from being pulled :) Can be bunged in the machine too which is fab. Have even tied it over the car seat handle and onto the play gym. Really recommend it!

I would really recommend this jewellery. It was bought as a gift from a friend. The jewellery is very stylish and unique. Its personally hand made and when you are breast feeding the baby can play with it in their hands and its great for keeping them occupied when changing their nappy. The jewellery also looks really glamorous and is not on the high street, so you look really original wearing it. thumbs up from me.

I came across Mama Jewels necklaces and bracelets when searching on Ebay, but then realised they have a website too. I really wanted to wear Jewellery but my little girl kept pulling and breaking my necklaces. I bought a Mama Jewels necklace mainly because they looked so gorgeous from the pictures but Mama Jewels also stated they were tested to Toy standards, beads are Non toxic and you can wash and sterilise them. When they arrived they were even better than I expected and so strong. I ordered some for a friend recently and I know she is over the moon with them. I still feel dressed up when I wear them and I dont need to worry what Elsie is putting her mouth or that she will break my necklace.
