Home made bookmark

We made a home made family portrait. We were just doing craft activities with kids and thought it would be fun and it turned out a lot better than I thought. A large piece of card. use cut out or ready cut shapes such as stars, hearts etc, find a small picture of each member of your family, pets included and stick onto the shape, arrange on card and add the heading "the ??? family" using your surname. looks great and use the brightest colours you can find.

It is brilliant because the kids all muck in. We get photographs of dad with the kids, and make a montage out of it, and use this to make a card. It reads World's Best Dad.

I made a book mark with the kids for their daddy.
I found a picture of each of the kids and arranged it on an oblong piece of card (bookmark ish length/size) and around the picture I allowed the kids to decorate it. Due to them being 1&2 in age I used an ink stamp to make hand/feet prints. You could also allow the kids to paint/colour or even write on the bookmark depending on age/ability.

I then took this locally to be laminated at a cost of £'s.

A lovely reminder of the dk's at that age and for dh to remember them each time he reads his book. (he works away alot atm so its a good reminder).
