Day out and Picnic

This year the kids and I will be buying hubby a voucher for Eden Day Spa for Father's Day. We have been a couple of times before and it's a wonderful day of relaxation, from the pool to the jacuzzis and from the sauna to the water grotto. There is the gym and cycles if you are feeling energetic and the massaging relaxation chairs if you want to just lie there and snooze. The food is wonderful too and the price is very reasonable.

Dads are always the hardest to buy for so since we've had our girls we've always gone on a 'family day out' instead. This year we went to Matlock, took a picnic & enjoyed the British sunshine. We all had a lovely day together, daddy & daughters spent some quality time together and me and dh enjoyed a bottle of wine or 2 when we got home... better than a pair of socks!!

Fabulous idea, what could any man want more than quality time with his children? Buy tickets for some local attraction, pack a picnic and on fathers day morning send the little angels up with breakfast in bed and details of his lovely surprise. Scarper while they are helping him eat his breakfast so you do not get under his feet and take the attention away from him. Especially good gift if he forgot mothers day.

The best present DH got (he says) is a picnic and day out I planned to a ship and air show. He loves things that float and fly so he was in his element and got to spend quality time with all his girls too.
