Absolute bargain. Lovely silver chassis frame. Easy to convert pram to a stroller. Height adjustable handlebar is great. The hood is long and covers baby lovely.
I'd say the basket is very small & the pram seems a little low to the floor.Read moreLess
"Sturdy and easy to use…"
My son is now 10 months old and sitting up in this fully, so we have used it in every way and at every angle. It is great! Easy to use, comfy for him and pushing it around it comfortable and feels well balanced. Really good price (it also came with a car seat which we are still using)and love the fact its a travel system so he can stay in the car sear for shorter trips (e.g. supermarket). We did have a problem with the recline mechanism but took it back to the store and had it replaced. Also bit bulky in the boot. A great buy though.Read moreLess
"I really rate this pushchair. I got it for Gracie…"
I really rate this pushchair. I got it for Gracie who is number 3, used the pram for a few months and now am using it as a stroller, forward facing but it could easily be facing me if I want to turn it round. I've been through a few pushchairs and really like to have the baby in a pram when they are first born but with the Kurvi I can use as a pram or a pushchair. The car seat fits on easily, I have a Mazi Cosi car seat but there's a Petite Star one too. It's light and the handle adjusts which is good for when my mum is helping out. It's a good price too as there are lots of extras included - liner, footmuff, apron, raincover and change bag when I got mine!Read moreLess

"We got a Mothercare four wheel travel system for our…"
We got a Mothercare four wheel travel system for our first child. Three years on its wheel had fallen off and we were given a Petite Star Kurvi 3 as a gift, so we can't help but compare how pram technology has advanced...
First the negatives. As I suspect with all three wheelers the wide rear wheel base makes maneuverability a bit tricky in limited spaces such as the corner shop and buses. Personally I find it a bit unnerving and a bit wobbly going up and down curbs, particularly if I only have one hand on the handle while holding the hand of my elder child.
The wider wheel base means that folded up, it won't stand on its side in the boot of VW Golf (although the wheel does come off) making it a bit easier.
The carry cot seems to be positioned a bit far forward, making crossing the road between parked cars a bit tricky
Biggest negative though is the size of the basket, which is too small. Also the under carriage restricts height and access to the storage.
Now the positive.
Out on the street its much more responsive than our old one while steering. Its lighter. It folds away with one easy movement. The car seat fits easily into frame of pram. Nice option of either front or rear facing when baby gets older and the Height adjustment for the handle is really good. Overall its a very smooth ride.
Good alternative to a Quinny-Maxicosi system, but we'd recommend the four wheel version.Read moreLess
