"Great stroller but if anything goes wrong...…"
I would like to tell my bad expiriance with Joolz stroller.
After a hard decision which stroller to buy, we decided in february 2014 to buy Joolz (despite that our baby still hade some months before being born). We recived all the boxes and put it away until our baby was borne (yes my mistake that i did not open them all and look if everything is ok with the stroller - suppose i am too trusty person).
Our sweet baby was borne and we started to use the cot. Every thing was ok. Our baby grew so we switched from cot to seat. There was a problem. The seat was crooked / bent.
We made a complaint in the shop where we bought the stroller on 30th of January 2015. In the middle od february 2015 we recived a call that there is nothing that they can do to fix a seat. So we will recive a new seat and we can come and pick up the old stroller.
The days pased by and we still did not recived a call that we can come an pick up the new seat. So in the middle od march 2015 (the 45 days in slovenian legislation that customer's complaint must be fixed already pased by) so i turned to shop where we by stroller. The replay was "you will recived it in april". I did not agree with that. After all we needed stroller at that point (not next year). So we came in conflict.
They told me that the 45 days did not pased by yet becouse i picked up the bad stroller in february. I checked with the inspection and that was nothing more but a lie. In the mean time a also write directly to Joolz. After a week a recived a replay that the shop will give me a asap answer (seriously? after a week? from people who lie?). Becouse i was trying to help myself with the inspection i recived a new seat within few days.
I replied to the shop that this is not new seat. They said that this box and this paper pruves that this is new seat.
Let me just say that:
1. the paper was service order (when i asked for delivery note they did not have it)
The service order is used to document service and customer service work. In particular, you can use the service order to:
Plan services specifically with regard to usage of material, utilities and personnel
Monitor the execution of services
Enter and settle the costs which arise from the services
2. joolz boxes are all painted, this one was not
3. the weight of the box was 1 kg, joolz's seat weight is 3,4 kg
4. the product number from the original box of the seat was not on the service order they sended
For the end i would like to say that think twice which stroller you would like to buy. Is this the service you would like to recive?
All the best luck with your stroller and i wish all the best to your baby(s) ;)
Joolz day earth elephant grey review
I will start by saying that the Joolz is my first pram so therefore i do not have a lot of comparison but out of 10 i would rate it a 8.5/9 overall.
I was originally purchasing the icandy peach 3 in truffle but due to manufacturing delays and the retailers lack of assistance i had no choice but to cancel my order and decided to shop elsewhere.
I felt pushed as my baby was due in 4 weeks and was told i may struggle to receive a pram in that timeframe and as i did not know the gender of my baby i couldnt have a pram in a gender specific colour ie pink and i really did not want standard black.
I came across the joolz and was drawn to it due to the carrycot being similar to the icandy peach. It was a good size and shape and was suitable for overnight sleeping which was a bonus for trips/sleepouts instead of putting a small baby in a travel cot. A great recommendation would be for the carrycot to have removable straps as my baby was tiny and tended to move about in the carrycot at first when going up curbs etc. Also this added extra would also be good if the carrycot tilted like some prams now do (a pram made by mothercare has this feature) as my daughter is very nosy and would love to see the world more whilst in her carrycot.
The chassis of the pram is chunky, sturdy and well built and the tan handle and bar made the pram look expensive and modern. It folds to a fairly good size for the size of the wheels and the thickness of the chassis, although it could do wiv a clip to keep it folded, but Joolz gets away with this by recommending you lock the front wheels when folding and therefore the chassis will stand upright in that position.
On the negative side the prams main wheels, although give it a more cushioned ride, are wide and can be hard to navigate around shops.
I purchased the chassis, carrycot, seat unit, mattress, raincover, basket, shopping bag and parasol for £679 and the footmuff and changing bag for £59 each from an independent local stockist.I personally didnt like the changing bag, although well made, was too bulky for my liking. I also didnt find the parasol useful as you have to move it as you change direction to mask the sun and not good in small spaces so would recommend to anyone to ask to swap for blackout hood/shade that is available if possible.
I have not got round to using the seat unit yet as my baby is still too small but im expecting it to be as good as the carrycot if not better.
In my opinion the Joolz Day is well built, fashionable and is great value for money and i would recommend it to anyone.Read moreLess

In love with my Joolz Day pushchair. People have passed comments on how beautiful it looks. It's extremely well built and so easy to use. The wheels simple click off should you be restricted on storage space. I have a buggy clip that I use to hold my shopping as the under storage isn't amazing but that doesn't bother me. It glides beautifully even with gel in the two back wheels. I would highly recommend this product. I bought mine ex-display from eBay which came with all the added extras. Well worth the money spent.Read moreLess

"Love my Joolz…"
After internet research, I narrowed down my pram search to the Uppababy Vista and the Joolz Day. I took my husband along to try them out and let him cast the deciding vote as I was happy with either. He went for the Joolz Elephant Grey edition and I'm glad he did as it's a brilliant pram. We've been using it for 8 months now so have used both the carrycot and pushchair seat. The handling and suspension is great, very smooth when you have a tiny baby in the carrycot. The carrycot was also still plenty big for my daughter when she started trying to sit up and we moved her into the pushchair. I love how high the seat unit is and have pushed it up to the table when out for feeding and she still naps well when the seat is reclined. I also like that there are hooks to hang your changing bag rather than hang over the handle bars or put in a basket. Some reviews say the basket is small but I manage to put the raincover and 2 bags of shopping in it when the flap is open. The pram is also well balanced and does not fall over with the changing bag on when the seat unit is removed to put in and out of your car etc. I could go on... The only 'issue' I had at first is folding the base as it shows you in instructional videos and in store as my arms were too short to reach over the handle bar, but I just reach underneath instead and works a treat! I always get comments on how it looks too, overall I love it!Read moreLess

"Love this pram…"
I did a lot of research into travel systems before I opted for the joolz. Initially I loved the way it looked, but its also very practical. It's feels sturdy and well made, it has great suspension and so easy to push. Most importantly my baby seems so comfortable in it, she's quite long and the carrycot has plenty of space as its designed to also use for nighttime sleeping and last the full 6 months. It also feels lovely having her closer to me as the carrycot and seat sit higher up on the chassis. The only possible downside is it is quite heavy and bigger when folded than some prams but I can get it in the back of my fiat 500...although not much else. Best of all I feel quite unique and proud when pushing her along the street that I haven't just gone for the bugaboo like EVERYONE else. Where's the fun in that!!Read moreLess

"Best Pushchair EVER…"
Best pushchair I have ever had/used. Extremely easy to maneuver, great suspension for all terrains, baby is extremely comfy, excellent for taller babies. When folded it is fairly large as you have to take the seat off separately but this has never been a problem for us. I would recommend this to anyone and the after sales in brilliant too. Highly recommend especially over the bugaboo and uppa babyRead moreLess

"Elegant frame, beautiful details…"
We bought the Joolz Day Tokyo Edition and we are very happy with it.
It manoeuvres very smoothly and the chassis is sleek and elegant: Due to both the shape of the slim frame and the brown leather handles.
The materials are of a high quality and the Japanese Illustration on the lining is a very delicate touch - lovely for us as parents and for the child's imagination.
The suede hood is a very nice touch for summer and with the rain cover will be suitable in the rainier months - although I hope there will be a hood available soon in a more suitable material for the Dutch/British climate
A real urban chic purchase, I highly recommend it.Read moreLess
