18-Jan-2012
i brought this second hand and i find it is perfect for my lil one,
the car seat perfect when in a rush as you can take it out of car and put it easily on the frame.
the pushchair seat is comfy and warm
the cosy toes is nice and thick
the sun canopy is quite deep keeps sun out of the eyes
i love the fact lil one can face me and also its easy to change directions
the straps on the pushchair seat are abit fiddly fine now that lil one a baby but think itl be difficult when she starts struggling
the pushchair seat is also perfect from birth you just recline it all the way down
fits perfect in a vw golf
all in all a perfect pushchairRead moreLessMumsnetter robdan

"has been recalled but... front wheels can get stuck when"
25-Sep-2011
has been recalled but... front wheels can get stuck when going down a kerb onto a road with a deep camber/gully. a bit fiddle to fold down (ours needed a good wiggle to get it to go), broke within a week of use, fills the boot of our xsara picasso- only leaving room for about 2 carrier bags of shopping. wheels are big, so our 5.5 year old dd and almost 4 year old ds kept tripping over them. but felt solid and looked comfy for our son. we never used it with the car seat in

"OK so this is not the best travel system in"
30-Jul-2011
OK so this is not the best travel system in the world, however I couldn't afford a fancy pants one so plumped for this as it seemed to offer value for money.
Yes it's difficult to push at times and it is hard to fit in the car. However DD seems really cosy in it, I feel she is safe and I like the parent facing option. It also got us through the nasty snow last winter without any hickups. So all in all it does the job I bought it for.
Yes I'm using a stroller now but I will happily use the xcursion again if needs be for the next bambino as I'm not made of money!Read moreLessMumsnetter boogerloobear

"lovely looking pram, great that it can easily be changed"
05-Jan-2011
lovely looking pram, great that it can easily be changed from rear to foward facing, however its so heavy to manoeuve, need a big boot on the car too, although the wheels easily come off its abit awkward if your in a hurry. my little one does look comfy in it though.
Can not get a parasol to fit which is very annoying.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"Cheaper "copy" of the Mamas and Papas Ziko Herbie. Found"
08-Sep-2010
Cheaper "copy" of the Mamas and Papas Ziko Herbie. Found it heavy and difficult to manoeuvre (mainly going down kerbs, the front wheels would stick jarring the pram) Adjustable handle height, good shopping basket size, large deep sun canopy, viewing panel, recline-able seat unit. Lovely deep footmuff, really comfy and still fitted my nearly 2yr old. Car seat clicks into the pram chassis easily.

"A great travel system that you can easily fit into"
11-Jul-2010
A great travel system that you can easily fit into the car but comfortable for your child. The seat can change direction as well meaning that you can either face your child or let them see the world

"An absolute nightmare! The baby carrier included was useful but"
06-Jul-2010
An absolute nightmare!
The baby carrier included was useful but not for the 9 months specified, we had to get a new car seat earlier than planned as our little one grew out of it by 6 months and she's not a large baby!
Once out of the baby carrier the whole pushchair seat and base needs to be transported which takes up the whole of my boot and the passenger seat! Granted I only have a Corsa but it's still very bulky and an awkward shape for any car.
The fame its self seems fairly sturdy but it's the wheels that are the main trouble. Forever getting stuck and wear very easily. It's like pushing the worst supermarket trolley you've ever come across. When taken back to Mothercare and given a change of wheels the problem still continued and it seems that all of them are like this.
Definitely not recommended! We've finally given up and just bought a cheap stroller.Read moreLessMumsnetter feensy87
