"Beautiful pram...shame about the car seat and buggy…"
I bought this pram when I was pregnant and loved the traditional feel to the pram and the sturdy wheels too. I found that compared to silver cross equivalent it was smaller to get into my boot. If you take wheels off it will also fit into the boot of a mini.

I have enjoyed lots of walks with the baby in the pram. It is very comfy for him and also the pram base can be altered so that he can be more upright if required. I used it for him to sleep in overnight with the base when I stayed at my parents and he was always happy in it. (I had bought an additional mattress for it when I bought it).

There are a couple of problems/limitations to the use of this system

-if you want to take the pram part and wheels in the boot you need a massive SUV style boot to fit both bits in. I have seen most people with this system put the car seat on the pram wheels when they go to the shops for this reason
-it takes up a lot of room so going to places like busy shopping centres etc are not as easy
-the buggy bit is useless until they have 'excellent' back support. As there is a 5 point harness with a plastic clip in the middle that is not covered then when your baby rests back they will be resting on that =not comfortable at all. In fact I have only once tried my little one in the buggy in our kitchen and promptly took him out. I have an iCandy peach (borrowed from a friend) which is much better. My little one loves sitting up and so it has been a huge relief borrowing a buggy that works well for him.

The car seat is heavy and not as comfortable as the maxi cosi

Overall I have loved the pram part of this system but hated the buggy and car seat.

Hope this helps peeps deciding on their pram system.Read moreLess
