"I have ADORED this system. We've made good use of"
13-May-2010
I have ADORED this system. We've made good use of every single item it comes with - the pram attachment is spacious and feels sturdy while still being lightweight for clipping on and off the wheels or stand. For the first three months it acted as a moses basket in the living room where my DD slept during the day and we have used it successfully as a travel cot.
The clip on/off system on the wheels is incredibly easy, there are no extra attachments for getting car seats on or anything like that, it's all very simply. I highly recommend getting the ISOFIX base as then the car seat is one clip into the car as well without having to worry about the seatbelt being fitted correctly.
The pushchair part of the system is also great - it lies almost flat for sleeping in, but is still comfortable upright so the baby can see what's going on. The harness is designed to give maximum movement for the baby while stopping them from falling out rather than strapping them tightly to the back of the seat.
The car seat can also double as a pushchair when the baby is tiny - it has a proper hood and feels in general more like a small pushchair attachment than the maxi cosi. It is heavy though, and is awkward to carry by itself.
Biggest downside I have had with it is it's pretty cumbersome to fold down with the pram or pushchair still attached and I can't pop it open with those bits attached at all, I'm not strong enough. It's not a huge issue, as you can just clip them off and then the wheels collapse/expand extremely easily, but it can be a bit awkward when you're trying to get it all into the back of the car, you end up juggling things a bit while trying to fit it all in the boot. I would really really struggle if I was on a bus and needed to collapse the pushchair to let more people on. With either attachment it is still large when collapsed. I did manage to fit it into the back of my Polo though, although it's a hundred times easier now I have an estate car! It also doesn't feel huge and cumbersome when you're pushing, it gives the impression of being quite compact.
In general, its a hugely versatile, extremely easy to use system and I would buy exactly the same again given the choice.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.
