"i was terribly disappointed with this pushchair, it looked very…"

i was terribly disappointed with this pushchair, it looked very comfortable and stylish and seemed to tick all the right boxes, i wanted a pushchair that would face me for as long as neccesary in an upright or sleeping position, with a hood and apron , and ideally fold up well with the seat still attached.
this pushchair does look lovely BUT .... it wont stay together when folded so it isn't easy to get in my car despite having a large boot as it opens and catches on anything remotely nearby, it's heavy and bulky to carry to the car and the steering is awful not to mention the lack of suspension, trying to get up kerbs is rather embarressing (you certainly wouldn't think i'd had 3 other children in pushchairs before !)
i had a graco cleo not so long ago which was far easier to manoeuvre than this and they'd actually remembered to add some suspension despite being a less classy and much cheaper brand.
the only good points are the padded seat and extra's like the apron and reversible seat, but that is very little use if you actually intent to do more than just sit your baby in it looking pretty !
oh yes , i forgot to mention that it is rather rickety feeling to, almost like its not put up properly.Read moreLessMumsnetter emmamumof4

It's OK, and we bought it at the outlet so it wasn't full price, but the big disappointment is the manoeuvrability. I don't have much to compare against except friends' prams, but I find it really awkward to steer in tight spaces, and the wheels seem to act like the worst shopping trolley you've ever used. Also, and this shouldn't really matter, it doesn't look as cool as a lot of similar-priced prams - although i think that's because it folds small

This travel system is ok, but I think a cheaper one would be just as good.

The Pliko Switch is still a travel system but you could change the way the baby faces when in pushchair mode - which was a real bonus. I could not rate Kiddisave any higher for the help that they gave me, I had the sales persons complete attention and her product knowledge was fantastic.
I will review this product more when my baby arrives in May.Read moreLessMumsnetter mrswright08
