"Warning, Graco is not a ISOFIX system, something that only"
30-Mar-2012
Warning, Graco is not a ISOFIX system, something that only becomes apparent after receiving the base, due to misleading information. Graco talks about securing your base into the ISO Fix, this is via a standard seatbelt and not the secure way all manaurfacturers (apart from Graco) cater for with ISOFIX. A bit annoying as now I have to return and order a new travel set that has considered safety as a key feature.

"I have been using this for nearly 4months, at the"
02-Jul-2011
I have been using this for nearly 4months, at the moment have only used the carrycot and car seat. I looked around and got very confused, so much choice. Ended up with the Symbio and love it. Think its easy to use, love the carrycot my son loves to sleep on his front so get for him. when going away on holiday just took carrycot instead of Moses basket and he slept great. Easy to fold into car, don't find lifting it a problem.
Car seat is bulky, but plenty of padding. we have the base unit as well, so easy to click in and out of car. You do need to use a clip to put it on the wheels, but again easy to use.
All moving parts are silver so easy to know which bits move. Basket it small, i've got the raincover in there and that's all i can fit in. but i've bought some bag clips for the handle bar, so can hang shopping off the side.
The break is on the side, have hit it a few times when going through doors. Just waiting to use it as a pushchair. Hopping it will last a few years yet.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"i would not recommend this travel system i think of"
03-Apr-2011
i would not recommend this travel system i think of alot more negitive to positive point,
i found it very bulky and heavy when putting in the car and not the easiest to fold.
when using as a travel system with logico car seat it was very high up and wide u need to be quite tall to see past.
small shopping basket.
the pushchair seat isnt very big.
the only positive points are it looks very nice and it seems comfortable.Read moreLessMumsnetter no1mammy

"I would certainly recommend the Symbio. I really liked the"
01-Mar-2011
I would certainly recommend the Symbio. I really liked the carrycot when my baby was a newborn; it was easy to detach and carry upstairs in our flat when the baby was asleep. I also liked being able to raise the head end so that he could see out a bit, and a friend with a refluxy baby was very jealous of this feature. We transferred DS into the pushchair attachment at four months (earlier than the suggested six) as he was getting fed up with lying flat and not being able to see what was going on. He is now seven months old and seems very comfortable in the pushchair. We have only so far used it with the footmuff (as it has been winter forever) which is very cosy (you have to buy it separately). When we are going out in the car, or going away for the weekend, we just attach the car seat to the wheels and use that instead. The car seat is bigger than normal first stage infant seats and DS seems very comfortable in it. I bought the raincover for the car seat which is really useful, I just wish I'd bought it straight away. We have the base for the car seat which is great as you can just click the seat into and out of the car very easily. The Symbio seems to be modelled on a combination of the Quinny Buzz and the Bugaboo Frog (?) and I think it is just as good as either of those and much cheaper.
Downsides: It is bulky - the base does fit in the boot of our Fiesta (and the wheels come off easily if necessary) but it takes up the whole boot. You have to remove the pushchair seat or carrycot to fold it (though the carrycot has soft sides so folds down nice and flat).
The shopping basket is very small- if you have the raincover in it there is no room for anything else.
The reversible handle is a nice idea but it's very hard to push with the big wheels at the front so I haven't really used this feature. It is handy to be able to lift the handle up to make the pushchair a bit shorter in length, eg on the tube or in a lift.
I am a bit concerned that my DS seems to be taking up the whole space widthways at only 7 months - I hope he will still fit in there in 1-2 years' time.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"The Symbio feels so light and easy to push &"
26-Dec-2010
The Symbio feels so light and easy to push & manoeuvre which is a necessity as I am usually pushing one-handed while holding my little girl's hand. I am in love with the reversible handle as I always love to have my little one facing me; it makes it very easy to let them face the other way which is great when they are older as they love to watch what's going on in the world! Very easy to fold and fits well in the boot of my VW golf. The shopping basket could be bigger but at least you get one! Looks very neat and stylish and I am happy to push it around :) I love the brakes being on the handle as I always hate struggling to find it with my foot.
Carrycot (Symbio Go)
The carrycot is lovely and cosy; i just love the fact that you can raise the head end of the mattress - perfect for windy babies or babies with colds and for babies a little bit older so they get a better view of the world. I also love the fact that the apron zips on which ensures no drafts get through to baby!!
Car seat! (Logico)
You can buy the logico car seat to make the perfect travel system with your Symbio! Very simple to use, the logico feels lighter than my other car seat too which is a massive bonus! I just love the little pieces of elastic you can put the straps through so they are out of the way whilst putting baby in!! It really is the little things in life that make things better :)
Absolutely brilliant buy!!!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
