"Lightweight, excellent value and features but need 2 hands to fold…"
23-Dec-2012
Positives:
- Genuinely suitable from birth; baby can lie fully flat in carrycot mode.
- No adapters needed; maxi cosi car seat slots straight on, as does the seat/carrycot unit.
- Front or rear facing.
- Handle is easily + smoothly height-adjustable
- Break is chunky and easy to use
- Carrycot folds flat - perfect for very small car boots
- Outstanding value for money - you get pretty much all accessesories bar a parasol!
- so light; is a joy to push
Negatives:
- You need two hands to fold the chassis so holding a baby at same time is out of the question.
- A slight niggle but the raincover is very difficult to fit.
Sadly the 2 handed-fold means I'll be trading this in pretty soon but was an EXCELLENT product for 0-6 months when a tiny car boot ruled out most other travel systems of this calibre.Read moreLessMumsnetter CourtsControversy

"Good system but tricky to fold…"

This is a very good travel system and good value for money but folding and unfolding the chassis is pretty tricky. I had to keep the instructions with me for weeks until I sorted it!!

I totaly love my MY4, I went mothercare a searched through loads of different ones till decided on this one, I love it because it has a lie flat for newborns and then can be tranformed for a older child and can be faced towards you or away as child gets older. Also having a car which is not massive it folds down nice an small even the rear wheels come off and fits with still quite a lot of room for shopping in my little corsa. also the colours avalible are lush. and another thing, the maxi-cosi car seat fix's into it without having to take the extra bulk of the pram if needed by just flicking the two little catches!

"Really good option from birth for as long as you…"
04-Aug-2011
Really good option from birth for as long as you need a pushchair, as it is a pram which then converts to a pushchair which can face both you and outwards. It will also recline as a pushchair which is good for naps. All options look pretty comfy.
Only slight gripe is that it is not the smallest of options and the base with the wheels can be slightly heavy, but the flipside to this is that it feels quite substantial and will last for ages.
Excellent value for money, and looks good too.Read moreLessMumsnetter gilbert26

Very good and practical, DS sleeps in pram during the day, although I had to put a pillow in because as a pram the harnesses (when it becomes a pushchair) could be felt. Extremely easy to push and turn around.. even with one hand. The pushchair looks very good too.. probably better than as pram.

"I think this is a really good buy - MUCH…"
16-Jan-2011
I think this is a really good buy - MUCH cheaper than Quinny (about half the price I think), although it is made by them (for Mothercare) apparently. I am still using it now as a parent-facing pushchair that leans back for DS (14 months) to sleep. When he was under 5 months the pram style option was perfect and really comfy for him. It is very easy to push (brilliant for bad backs/c sections) and is fine for shopping if you attach some clips (Happy Mummy from Amazon are great). All round really pleased with it and just think it's good value compared to others I've seen. Bit wide is the only draw back, but no more than others of its type. Folds up fairly easily. Nice colours too.
