"The best pram, ever.…"
I felt compelled to write a review as this is simply the greatest pram, ever. Which magazine awarded it the top out of nearly 300 prams, as if you needed any further proof!
I don't know why the previous reviewer had problems with wheels (maybe a USA thing?) but I have pounded the streets of London for nearly a year now with mine and it's been FANTASTIC. No problems at all.
Every time you pass another parent with an UPPAbaby - especially the Cruz, which is much more compact than the Vista, and hence much better for a crowded city - you give each other a secret smile. Honestly everyone else's pram feels flimsy and wrong and you wonder why they spent £1000 on their Bugaboo Bees, which is the pram of choice around here.
Great pram in every way, but especially the ability to switch between parent-facing and world-facing in an instant. Also the massive pannier underneath is just invaluable, most other prams just waste this space!Read moreLess

"Awful rear wheel quality!!…"
Love everything about this stroller, EXCEPT the WHEELS are terrible quality, as is Uppababy customer service!!
I've had this stroller for the past 2 years and change. Great large canopy, large storage, and it maneuvers beautifully. I live downtown in a large city and needed a stroller that didn't take up much space on sidewalks and in shops, cafes, etc. So in this way it has served me really well! Plus you get a rain cover and bug net. I spent extra cash (probably about $200!) to make my daily usage more enjoyable, such as a cup holder, snack tray, bar, car seat adaptor, newborn insert. And my growing loyalty to the brand even had me order the Uppababy G-lite umbrella stroller without even shopping around because I trusted their quality so much!!
Then, less than a year in, I noticed the rear wheels wearing thin along the centre, and in no time the superficial rubber layer of the wheels SPLIT IN HALF! After emailing them all my info and photos, Uppababy customer service said this was unusual and sent me a new pair. It happend AGAIN a few months later, and AGAIN a few months after that!!! So in two years I have gone through 3 sets of rear wheels. But it doesn't end there...
Uppababy Cruz clearly has to fix this wheel quality issue. My current wheels are completely wrecked, and suddenly I am getting snubbed by customer service who will not send me any more. They have been claiming for FOUR MONTHS that their wheels are "out of stock" and will send me a pair immediately. How about, stop lying or reimburse me for my troubles!! Now all the rubber of the rear wheels is falling apart. This is NOT a warranty issue, rather a poor quality that needs to be dealt with before more people cluelessly spend close to $1000 on the stroller plus accessories!!!Read moreLess
"Perfect. Does everything we want.…"
Ideal if you don't want the bulk/size of other pushchairs but still want a pram. We used with carrycot from birth which is lovely and cosy. Uv shade is really useful for naps, seat reclines easily too. Narrow chassis means fits easily through our tight hallway which was main criteria. Comfy seat, easy to push on most surfaces, of course if you're planning lots of off road walks you need bigger wheels but we have a carrier for those occasions! Best purchase we made, suits us and our little boy! Not the smallest when folded but this is outweighed by the other features and cost compared to some puschair systems. Highly recommend.Read moreLess

"It looks good, compact enough for city living and a huge basket…"
The Cruz is stylish and feels substantial, but it is compact enough to fly around shops, through doors and can sneak through gates on the Tube.
It has a nice big basket that holds more-or-less everything.
It folds easily and can fit into the boot of supermini class of car.
The wheels are big enough for grass and fairly rough paths.
So, unless you spend all your time in mud, or like to make life difficult for yourself by hauling around a behemoth, this is all you really need.Read moreLess
