"Excellent off-road but won't fold rear facing and car seat very fiddly…"
I chose this buggy because we live in the countryside and I need it to be easy to push through the farm tracks in all sorts of weather conditions. In this respect it does not disappoint. It is an excellent off road buggy and even with a buggy board added it is possible to use it on challenging routes. The downside to this is that it is a big and heavy buggy but I think that is a reasonable compromise to make if you want a real off-roader.
I have used it from birth as it has a lie flat position which is easy and fast to recline. The hood offers substantial cover from the sun and there is plenty of space under the buggy, although the holder is very low down and your possessions may get splattered with mud in the winter. The foot brake is a tad fiddly and feels insubstantial - I keep having to check it has engaged properly. I also have the carry cot which I wanted to use mainly as a car seat. This is far to heavy to be easily swapped from the car to the buggy but as the standard buggy seat is suitable from birth I have permanently left the carry cot in the car.
I have two main reservations with this buggy. The folding mechanism is very easy to use but the buggy will not fold intact when rear facing. You have to unclip the seat, take it off, fold the buggy and then put everything in the car. This buggy is huge so it won't fit in your car unfolded unless you have a van. All this is a substantial inconvenience for all the months you use the buggy rear facing and the information that the buggy won't fold RF was not very evident on their website. In addition the carry cot car seat is extremely fiddly to clip into and out of the seat belts. If you intend to install it in your car and leave it then that's fine, but if you need to remove it on a regular basis you will hate it in no time. This is such a shame because the carry cot appears really robust and safe, designed by a company who make innovative car seats so it is a surprise they got this so wrong.Read moreLess
"Really practical - love it…"
I got this pushchair as a gift, having had a bugaboo with DS1. I thought britax were good at car seats but was really pleased with this pushchair when I started to use it a lot.
The basket it huge - I can practically do a few days shopping at the local co-op and walk home. It's really manoeuvrable and I love that DD can face forwards or towards me. I also like that she can lie flat and have a nap with the hood right over (hood huge also!)
Basically it's brilliant and I love it. Only prob is that it's huge in every way - not as nippy as a buggy around town, but I think it makes up for that with the basket size, and hood, and cosy lie flat thing.Read moreLess

"Big - I mean very wide, 62cm. You can get…"
Big - I mean very wide, 62cm. You can get a Mountain Buggy double that's as wide as that, so had lots of trouble just getting round shops, libraries etc. If all you do is walk around the countryside with no other pedestrians, then fine - but if you need to get somewhere you will find it difficult.
They say it will fit in the smallest car boot - don't think so! I have a '07 Punto, not the biggest but again not the smallest. I had to take wheels off, seat off, and shoe-horn the damn thing in. My husband has an estate and it takes up the whole boot in that.
Next, very heavy. It says it's 12 or 13kg in the ads - no way! It's 17kg, you need a folk lift to get it in and out of your boot. It actually says 17kg on the box it comes in, so where they get this magical 12kg number I dont know.
Upsides: really well built, great hood, lots of cover, very comfy seat, reclines totally flat, great easy-click on/off with carry cot and car seat - no adaptors, which was lovely. Use from birth in the seat, although I had the lovely carry cot. Great to push, looks great.
It just need to be 10kg lighter and 6cm skinnier. Got rid of it cos it was too hard to get around anywhere - I would have put up with the weight, just not the width.Read moreLess
