"Great at first but awful wheel issues…"
07-Apr-2013
Loved this pushchair when I first bought it, perfect for urban living. However the wheel jammed and then completely broke after 2 months of use and it was an utter nightmare getting M&P to do anything about it. Eventually after much stress they exchanged for another one- only for exactly the same thing to happen after 10 months. I gave up and bought a different pushchair.

"it was love at first sigh with this pushchair, bought…"
23-Mar-2012
it was love at first sigh with this pushchair, bought it beginning of dec. last year, i just love the seat it's comfy & roomy enough even for my 3 yo,i love the leather feel handle & bumper bar, also the hood which cover baby really well, really like that it faces both ways, it's easy to steer 1 hand but there are a few buts! shopping basket is small & when you will put anything in it makes the front wheels touching it so it's making funny noise & i'm sure you will damage it really quickly, also wheels are just rubbish, not what you would expect from such a expensive stroller, just a couple of short walks & they look like after a year of using! i'm not sure they will last for a year. when you have smaller baby it easy to push up curbs but with bigger- heavier you have to slow down. but what's disappointed me the most it's the customer care, i was thinking that m&p should have excellent service but they don't! bought mine as ex display but after 2 months accidentally noticed "repaired" sticker on the chassis! i called help line but after long wait they just send me to the store i bought it from. in the store they just told me that the handle bar was damaged so it's been send to repair, but if i knew that i wouldn't buy it! staff at Basingstoke store were really rubbish just apologised & that's all they could do for me! it put me off that pushchair so much that i sold it a week later! just not what you would expect from M&P!!!

"Have had this pushchair for 18 months now and love…"
22-Dec-2011
Have had this pushchair for 18 months now and love it so much. I fail at not being smug when other mums say how good it is. It's light and narrow so it fits on buses! It moves really well and goes fully flat and reversable. Yes you do need to clean the frame and wheels and lubricate them often or they jam, and it's not an off roader but that suits me because in those cases we sling. Have also had the problem of the handle bar slipping down when you hang things from it, but not a big issue.
Really comfortable for my daughter and hope it will keep going for no. 2.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

"I've had my Urbo for 4 months, and I mostly…"
07-Oct-2011
I've had my Urbo for 4 months, and I mostly love it. Its not perfect though! It works well with a buggy board, leaving room for me to walk even with the chair reclined to lie flat (dd2 was 2 months when we got this). The wheels do go funny and jam - they need spraying with silicone every month which takes all of 1 minute so its not really an issue. It tends to fill the car when its folded, but unfolded its a very sensible size - not huge - and my daughter loves facing me. It is good for urban use but terrible i fields etc. It is stylish, good to push, comfy and I have no plans on replacing it which says something! Definately worth a look.

"We have now had this pushchair 10 months, in that…"
01-Aug-2011
We have now had this pushchair 10 months, in that time it has been back to Mamas and Papas twice to have one of the front wheels fixed as it kept jamming. It was so bad that I nearly tipped my son into the road as the pushchair nearly flipped over.
Mamas and Papas response was that the wheels probably needed lubricating, this was after 3 months of use!
We now have another problem that the handle bar kept sliding back into the chassis when I was walking, again asked for this to be fixed, the handle was changed but now has developed another issue - giving me electric shocks as I walk around shops or go into lifts! My Mum and friends have also experienced this with this pushchair. Mamas and Papas have said that this is not their problem and if I attach a bit of rubber somewhere on the chassis it should solve the problem - what did I spend my money for?
Apart from the problems I have had, it is a good urban pushchair very comfortable for my son and a nice size to push around, but the customer service experienced by Mamas and Papas means I won't be buying their products again.
Anyone else had this experience?Read moreLess4 people found this review helpful.

"Weeks after buying the urbo the wheel fell of while…"
31-Jul-2011
Weeks after buying the urbo the wheel fell of while I was shopping. Pretty inconvenient, and no apology when I phoned up to organize getting a replacement. On closer inspection, although the other wheels were all firmly attached their attachments were clearly worn and did not look like they'd withstand much more use.
Also, it was really difficult to use the brake in light shoes as the underside of the brake had metal edges that hurt my foot.
On the plus side the pram was very easy to fold and pretty maneuverable!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"After reading many negative reviews just after purchasing this pushchair…"
13-Feb-2011
After reading many negative reviews just after purchasing this pushchair I was quite concerned, however, I needn't have been.
The pushchair is ultra stylish, lightweight, easy to collapse, compact, easily manoeuvrable, very comfortable for baby, easy to use harness and sturdy.
I would recommend this pushchair for town/city use, probably not for off road/rough terrain.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
