"Worst pushchair ever!!!…"
Still to this day I cannot believe I wasted money on this pushchair! I was so excited to receive my Stokke Xplory V3 and could not have been more disappointed... From the minute I tried to put it together I knew it was a gimmick! Firstly it is soooo heavy and impractical, definitely not one for getting in and out of the car easily! I don't know if it was just mine or whether it is a common problem but I could just never get the frame to fold down! Sometimes it took over ten attempts (and a few expletives) before it finally folded. And it wasn't much smaller than when upright! Then there is the lack of suspension... My baby felt every single bump in the path, being jolted backwards and forwards when attempting a curb! I put my baby in this when she was 7 months old so I definitely wouldn't want a newborn being thrown about in it! I did like the extended hood feature which shaded from every angle and I had the clip on blanket which I thought was a great idea. I also had the winter kit which I never got to use ... Another thing which really annoyed me was that the bag on the front is not waterproof?! So all the contents got absolutely soaked when it rained?! Had Stokke never thought to make it waterproof?! Also the raincover goes over the handle so even when zipped the tightest it goes, it still has a slight gap so rain still gets in... Might be being picky here but for the price you would expect the best!!! I lasted around 5 weeks with my Stokke and sold it for a huge loss... They just don't hold their value like they used to. I know have a Quinny Moodd and could not be happier, the suspension is amazing, easy to fold and looks stylish! I would advise anyone looking at a Stokke product to steer clear, it really is just the brand name you are paying for and a complete waste of money!Read moreLess
