"Love it....but a few niggles…"
We bought this two months ago to replace the bulky travel system that we had now that our daughter was 6 months. Love how easy and light it is to push, how easy it folds down with one hand, the fact its an all in one buggy rather than a separate seat unit and wheels, the compact raincover which clips easily to the hool, the easy to pull down recline seat and the large hood and pull down sunshade.
However the niggles we have are as follows:
1. (main niggle) It just doesnt sit upright enough, my daughter is constantly trying to sit up in it. Due to it not being uprightm she kind of slumps down in it and can not get her to stay sat up properly. She is currently 8 months and so may sit up better as she gets older?
2. Not easy to get anything in the shopping basket underneath so tricky to get any bags in.
3. When you flip it to open it, sometimes the front wheels get caught and lock the whole thing so you have to turn it upside down, manhandle the wheels and try again. (tip - when buggy is on the floor before opening it, pull it towards you slightly so the wheels point stright in front of you then you have no problem at all)Read moreLess

"Better than expected!!…"
Originally I had the Silver Cross Surf, all good until my son was 6 months and it became a pain folding it down constantly to fit int he car, So i moved on to this.
Ive tried the m&p Luna prams before but wasnt impressed at all, Hated it in fact, this armadillo though is completely different. I have the blue pram, colour is amazing, easy to push, easy to fold down single handed which is a godsend with a wriggling toddler. My boy is nearly 2 years old now and this pram has been worth every penny. Folds down suprisingly small but it large when up, which is great for my mr long legs. the surf has been put in the loft now as its too small already.Read moreLess

"Lightweight and spacious…"
The best lightweight pushchair I've found and a definite competitor for the Bugaboo Bee which we originally liked. We bought this as a lightweight stroller to replace our Icandy peach, it's been amazing. Does everything it says on the box and if it had been around when my LO was small then I would have bought it then as it fits the car seat onto it too. It is easy to fold and very spacious, my 18 month old is very tall and he has lots of room. The fold is super easy and can be done with one hand. The steering is also very easy.
The best feature is the hood as it's very large, I'd say the raincover could be better as it's only designed to protect the front and hangs onto the edge of the hood and it would be better value for money if it came with a footmuff. On the other hand, the competitors don't come with a footmuff so it's not something that lets it down.Read moreLess
I am also using the Armadillo to replace my bugaboo, and i can't fault it at all! It so comfy for my 13 month old! I love it more than my bugaboo and i never thought i would say that! Well done M&P!Read moreLess
"Easy to fold, huge seat and it looks fantastic…"
I bought this very recently as a replacement for my Bugaboo. I absolutely love it and it's so easy to push. The main reason I bought it was because of the easy fold. I use public transport a lot and the Bugaboo was just no use for buses. This one is great it folds in seconds with one hand. The colors are great and I love how any Mamas and papas foot muff fits it. The car seat adaptors are great idea and It's handy when I'm using the car and Dd is sleeping. She's 8 months old and I can see this lasting a long time, it's solid.Read moreLess
"Great lightweight replacement for an iCandy now our DD2 is older.…"
We've only just bought this, but enormously impressed. We were looking for a lightweight replacement for an iCandy Peach, but both found the standard McLaren unsuitable because our oldest still rides the buggy board. This is a fantastic buggy. It feels really robust, folds easily (definitely one handed) and is light enough to manhandle into a boot with a child in the other arm. Best of all, the handle height is good enough not to allow you to get close enough to the buggy, which really helps with reducing back strain. The downside is that it feels less stable with a buggy board attached, but then the iCandy is a very big and solid system by comparison.
For such a light buggy it feels really spacious, and our 18 month old quickly fell asleep in it. It reclines almost flat, and does so really easily with just a quick tug of a chord. Wheels back and front come off easily for really flat packing, and the front wheels also lock facing forwards too.
The Armadillo will be coming on holiday with us as well - small and light enough to stow easily in the hold/in a hire car. Very happy with it.
I thought it was pretty good value at £199, including a rain cover, but with no muff. Impressed.Read moreLess
