"Love it...Mostly"
21-May-2012
I was able to test drive the Strawberry back in November 2011 and fell in love with it straight away. Niamh was due on 4th January and John Lewis told me the Strawberry should be ready for delivery in December, which I thought was great! However, iCandy kept pushing back the date of release, so when Niamh was born on 9th January we were pramless for 2 weeks which almost made me cancel my order and pick the Peach. I'm so glad I didn't now as I love it to pieces and so does my daughter! It is light, easy to manoeuvre and looks fab. It was especially useful when I went away and was able to use the carrycot as a moses basket due to the memory foam mattress. It also has the handy feature of being the only iCandy to fold with the carrycot/seat unit still attached.
Now that Niamh is 19 weeks we have just started using the seat unit rather than the carrycot which she loves as she can see the world. However, the ONLY drawback I have now found is that when it rains, the water runs straight off the raincover (on the seat unit, not the carrycot) and pools into the basket. Not ideal if you've been shopping! Other than that I am very happy and would recommend it to anybody.Read moreLessMumsnetter yummymummy2012

"I bought the i candy strawberry a few weeks ago"
02-Mar-2012
I bought the i candy strawberry a few weeks ago and I can't rate it highly enough. It is the cheapest and lightest in the iCandy rangeland in my opinion the most versatile.
It is smaller which makes it easier to push around shop aisles and easily bounces on and off pavements.
The colours are very nice, I got the aubergine, and the fact that the pushchair folds with the seat (but not the carrycot) in situ is a definite bonus. And as with all iCandy pushchairs it is compatible with the Maxicosi carseat.
Overall extremely pleased with my purchase!Read moreLessMumsnetter ExpectantMumofLilo

"So I recently got a chance to test the new"
12-Oct-2011
So I recently got a chance to test the new Strawberry at a special preview at my nearest retailer. And I have to say I am so excited - I am a self-diagnosed buggy-holic and the strawberry will be my next fix I'm sure, because I was so impressed by it.
The seat is just as spacious, comfortable, reversible and 3-position-recline like other iCandy strollers. However, the system will fold with the seat attached in whatever position, meaning folding it is so quick - just had to push the handle down, or equaly use the step and fold feature to fold it in it's free-standing position. Easy, practical and quick!
Furthermore, it's memory system means when you fold and re-open, it will remember which position it the chair was in. A superb design! It has great storage - a huge collapsible basket at the bottom and then extra storage in it's "Punnet" - a space in the seat beneath the child's feet!
It's got an adjustable handle, which will be handy for the 6'2" hubby. Swivelling and lockable front wheels so it'll tackle most terrains. Removable bumper bar, colourful flavour packs, durable wheels. It basically seems to combine all the best iCandy features and then some more into one stroller all for around £400!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.
