"Really easy to manoeuvre and lightweight…"
22-Dec-2012
I absolutely love this buggy. When you have twins anything that makes your life easier is an absolute godsend and this was my best buy.
It's lightweight for a twin buggy, it's narrow and easy to fold. The children were very happy in it. As I had twins and lived in London (and not finding public transport terribly easy). I walked everywhere. It got a real battering.
I still use it today at times as I have another little one and one child recovering from an op. It's still going strong.
The best thing about this buggy is how easy it is to push. Even when loaded up to the max it was still easier to push than my single pushchair with one child in it. I could push using one hand and pavements, steps etc were not a problem.
The negatives are that I got a few flat tyres but once I started using tyre slime this was sorted.
The other negative is that the children are sat quite far back. I guess this is to make sure the balance is right. They would sometimes pull themselves forward to sit more upright.
The positives still far outweigh the negatives. I would recommend this every time for twins or multiple children.Read moreLessMumsnetter pleasestoptalking

"Indestructible!…"
27-Nov-2012
I bought one (now old model) second hand for my twins and have been very impressed. It is relatively lightweight (very lightweight compared to my P&T) and manoeuvrable, turns on the spot and easy to push single handed... Which with two babies is important! Manages really well offload too.
Downsides - difficult to handle when folded, not because of the weight but because the seats are free to flap around, I find this makes loading into the car tricky. It takes very little weight on the back to make the pram tip up - sure this improves as babies get heavier and seats are upright, but you need to be very careful. Also when seats are flat it's tricky to reach the brake and access storage. It fits through a standard doorway, but only just - my front door frame is scratched despite care and annoyingly it doesn't fit through any of my internal doors.
Overall despite a few niggles I'm happy with it and would highly recommend. Some second hand bargains out there and the pram really does last.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"Love it!!…"
26-Sep-2012
I use this for work and love it! I tend to have a baby and a toddler in it and its still easy to push, can push with one finger (just had to try it!).
The only downside which doesn't bother me is that the seats are not quite upright when in the upright position.
When folding it may look huge but I really dont think it is. it fits in my car's boot with a single stroller (i have a renault clio) which is small.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

"Used about six or seven times before the brake stopped…"
21-Mar-2012
Used about six or seven times before the brake stopped working! On inspection, the rod which supports the brake on one side is completely rusted over. I have googled 'out n about faulty brake' and unfortunately many people experience problems with the brakes. Retailer and manufacturer being quite cagey about the whole thing, even when confronted by the evidence about the dodgy brake online, and are "considering" refund. Shame as I did quite like this pushchair - absolutely brilliant to push. Collapsing is easy, but it would have helped if there were a handle to hold to move the pushchair around as quite awkward without. I'm not a fan of removing wheels to fit the pushchair in the car/get in shops etc. (I live in an area infested with dog mess!). If they improved the brake, would buy again but think real safety hazard as it is (only realise the brake wasn't working when Mum at nursery advised me that pushchair with toddler and baby was rolling into the road while I stopped to close the gate behind me!).

Brilliant double buggy. Can genuinely be steered one-handed even with a heavy toddler, a baby and week's worth of fruit and veg attached! Very light to push and great to manoeuvre around town. Lovely off road and reclines well for newborns, and the suspension means that they are comfy even off road. A shame you have to buy the basket separately but brilliant value when compared to other doubles. Only downside is that it is 1cm too wide for standard doors so you have to remove the wheels to get it in. Having said that, it is very easy to take them off and replace them. I love this buggy so much that I really wish I'd bought the single for DS.

Good all rounder- especially for twins. They get to see what's in front rather than the back of the 'presenting twins' head or bum!
Only downside is the wheels need fixing- on the overall design. I had loads of punctures and ended up going around with a repair kit until in frustration I went back to the shop I bought it and got new inner tubes, after that no problems whatsoever. My twins cried when it went, I almost did too.

"This has proved to be the best buggy ever-it's like…"
06-Oct-2011
This has proved to be the best buggy ever-it's like a 4-wheel drive car (but has 3 wheels).
It served me when my toddler was 18months (too tall for most buggies) and he fitted comfortably alongside my newborn. It then served, 2 toddlers and my eldest perched above 3rd wheel. I have never had to purchase any wheels, and have walked over fields and tracks.
It holds a considerable amount of shopping underneath.
It folds easily, and i have to say, it's the easiest buggy to push, even with 3 sitting on it.
I am able to get on buses and in and out of shops, as it's no wider than a wheelchair.
My only bad comment is the raincover fits so snugly, that it tears easily, but saying that i only replaced it once in 5 years.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this buggy, it's been my mode of transport for 5 years.Read moreLess3 people found this review helpful.

27-Jul-2011
I love my Out n About Nipper. I have twins and was very sure I wanted them to have equal "billing" in terms of what they could see while we were "out n about" (eg not a tandem buggy). They were premmies so very small and although I had to add the new born support, they've always been very comfy and secure in this stroller. Pushing it is a breeze. It simply glides along with barely any effort. On the down side, it doesn't fit onto buses and goning on the tube (down escalators) was a nightmare as it does take up most of the escaltor. It's wise to invest in a spare inner tube and pump, too. We went for a long walk one day and got a puncture so had to wheel the whole thing back on the rims - very, very tiring!!

Just love my nipper 360 double! I have a 2 yr old and a baby, and popper the phil and teds carry cot in it when by babe was first born to keep him snug which worked really well. Great steering and turning circle, fits in the boot of the car folded up with a labradoodle as well for trips to the country park, but whizzes around town as well.

28-Dec-2010
This is my third double pushchair and it's definately the best one yet. Okay, so it doesn't go through every doorway but the advantages of having a simple fold, turn on a sixpence, comfortable buggy outweighs this. I've got a 4,2 and 6 month old and any combination of them are comfortable and it's a dream to push. Compared to the price of other doubles I also think this is excellent value for money.

16-Dec-2010
Comments from other mumsnetters: Everyone found it incredibly light and easy to manoeuvre, "even up hills and up and down curbs". A great choice if you'll be taking it round the shops: "it fits through most doors and has two decent sized shopping bags". Although quite bulky when folded, reviewers were overall very impressed. "The seats are spacious and unlike some models older children still find it comfortable". It's also "stylish-looking and so easy to push - it's totally changed my perception of double buggies".

03-Dec-2010
Great pushchair for 2, very light for its size and very manoeuvrable so it is easier to push than some single buggies. Tons of storage space which is easily accessible too, especially if you get the extra basket for underneath. When very old and well-used the wheels can start to go, and/or the crossbars underneath can start to come off, but this usually only seems to happen with second-hand ones htat have had lots of use, especially with older/heavier children. Do check the width against your front door, though it is fairly easy to take a wheel off to make it narrower.

"I've had two of these buggies (the suspension buckled on…"
03-Oct-2010
I've had two of these buggies (the suspension buckled on the first when a friend sat on it...). There are many many advantages - most of all it's incredibly easy to steer, incredibly light and incredibly maneouvarable. I love it. I sometimes push it with one finger - just for the sheer pleasure of it. Also possible to get vast ammounts of shopping in the basket underneath and piled on top of the hood (though as they get bigger this does tend to annoy them a little).
The disadvantages are:
1. Very light so when babies are small the pram can blow in a strong wind if the hood is down. Got round this by tying wrist weights around the front legs (of the pram, that is).
2. The seats slope back (they areadjustable but took me a while to work this out). Works best if you put two little carry cots inside, like phil and teds type - also makes transporting babies in and out easier.
3. Sun gets in their eyes. Put a muslin or cloth on the front and secure with a bull dog clip.
As they get older:
1. straps will not restrain a tantrumming toddler.
2. It takes a lot of weight, this pram, but by the time chidren reach their threes the suspension is taking a bit of a battering and there may be squeeks (from the wheels, that is).
3. It doesn't fold down very small (but it is easy to fold down).
4. seats don't go up all the way - have to say this never bothered mine. many people suggested stuffing a pillow down the back. would have worked but never could be bothered).Read moreLess5 people found this review helpful.

"Bought this a few weeks ago for my 2 year…"
24-Aug-2010
Bought this a few weeks ago for my 2 year old and 2 month old. Having tried both the Baby Jogger City Mini Double and the Out n About Nipper 360 Double in the shops, I would have preferred the Baby Jogger (better features: better hood coverage, better seats, MUCH easier to fold and to carry when folded, almost as light as the Nipper, more accessories) but the straps on the Baby Jogger said only up to 15kg (2 stone 5 lb)and my normal 2 year old is 2 stone already - so went for the Nipper as it can take more weight. Having said that, I do like the Nipper, it's light, fits through most shop doorways (just) and on our buses (just), is easy to push and we recently tried it "off road" in the woods and it coped really well. For me, the only real downside is that the front foot board sticks up when it's collapsed, making it a bit bulky to store, and it doesn't have any carry handles to make it easy to lift/move when collapsed. As you have to collapse it to bring it into and out of the house through a standard house door, this is a bit of a pain. When out and about, though, it's fantastic. Having looked into double buggies a lot before shortlisting these two, I'd recommend the Baby Jogger if you've got 2 young babies/children and the Nipper if you've got an older child. (Note - the Baby Jogger website says the City Mini seats can hold 50lb (3 stone 8lb), so a contradiction to what's actually written on the straps).

super pushchair. Very light, extremely manoeuvrable (with one hand whilst seating two kids). Once you know how to collapse this pushchair, you can do it very easily. When wheels are off, it lies flat in my boot (Nissan X trail), and when going away everything else fits on top. Only downers - some doors not wide enough to fit it through - most shops are - if they are wheelchair accessible. My kids are 5,3,1 and I have even had v tired 5 year old sat on front plastic with legs up on a long trip out. 3yo is 22kg, and it is still easy to push with 1 year old in other side. I love it and it has done me loads of long dog wlaks etc. Goes on the school walk every day cross country. I've had no problems with the rain cover - fits well.

19-May-2010
Fabulously light and easy to steer. Fits into some unlikely cars because the wheels come off. Ideal when babies are small, but the seats are set quite far back, and where their feet go is relatively high, especially when using footmuffs, which means that when babies are older and inquisitive, they cannot see forwards over their feet , and views to the side are limited by the far back seats too. We solved it to a degree by stuffing towels behind the seats to push them forwards.
The hood is also quite shallow so when the sun is lower in the sky , you need to provide shade.Read moreLessMumsnetter shirleytwo

07-Jan-2010
My sister who has recently had twins has been really enjoying the Nipper. It's incredibly light, both to push and to carry around which makes it really easy to get it in and out of boot of the car. This said, it is big and doesn't actually fit in the boot of her small car boot but is fine if you have an estate or hatchback. It's easy to get up and down curbs and brilliant on rougher terrain, so great for strolls through the park and across the Heath. It's stylish and she really likes the fact that now the twins are older, they are able to look out and get a good good view. Most of all she feels confident that the babies are safe and comfortable. She's been happy with the Nipper for the babies and feels it's going to be perfect now they are getting a bit older and bigger.

24-Jun-2009
Absolutely love it, is so light and easy to push and turn, bit wide for some doorways but so is any double. Only real drawback from my toddler's point of view is the bucket style seats - I have to wedge a cushion behind the backrest to help him to sit more upright. And the backrests are a bit annoying to adjust in general. But I honestly don't think there is a better product on the market in this price range, and they hold their value well if you come to resell.

22-Mar-2009
I can jog really easily with this product. Would literally blow away with tiny baby in it in windy weather. Beware! Very easy to manouvre - have older version, bet 360 degree version even better. Not easy to move around when folded but so lightweight the good outweighs the bad. I fought to keep it and changed the car rather than the pram as my family grew! Children too laid-back but this is so that if on rough terrain their spines don't take impact, but not great position as they get older and they want to sit up. I put a blanket behind seat when smooth terrain so they can see/sit up. Wonder if side by side greatest thing when my children fight! Out n' about fab company as had problem with seat collapsing and they mailed me a whole new double seat unit without delay. Very impressive!

I used the Nipper Double with my twins from birth until I couldn't persuade them to get in to it any more!
I found it really well balanced so I could hold my toddler's hand at the same time as pushing the Nipper one handed. Easy to bump up and down kerbs.
Seats go flat so newborns are comfy.
My only criticism is that when my children got a bit older they found the seats a bit buckety and would have preferred to sit a bit more upright.Read moreLessMumsnetter forkhandles

20-Jan-2009
I love it! This is my second twin pushchair and I wouldn't swap it for the world. My 1st pushchair only lasted 6 months and by then my twin boys were making it hard for me to steer (and they're not that big). This is a dream to steer, push and fold. Two thirds of the mums at our twinclub have all got one, and we all rave about them. I get it through all the doorways I want, including my conservatory. I've got an estate car so it's no problem putting it in, but my friend has a Honda and she just removes the front wheel. She also used it from birth without problem. The cosy-toes can be expensive for it, but we've got the buggy-snuggles which I prefer. I'd recommend the Nipper 360, but I know a few with the fixed wheel and they're happy with their choice too. The only negative point I can think of is that it's not that easy to adjust the recline once the boys are in the seats - not that much of a problem though.

When my baby was born I needed a double suitable for a newborn and 20mth toddler. I read lots of reviews then went to a shop to sit them both in a nipper before making a decision. I am so pleased. It's easy to put up and down (although I have caught my finger once or twice but more stupidity!). It's really easy to manouvre particularly as it fits through most doors. Only problems have been shops who put too much on the shopfloor! Good value for money particularly if you shop around - I got mine on Boots online shop which had best deal.

Love this pushchair, it is so light and manoeuvrable- much better than my single! You just have to be careful not to tip it onto its front wheel (prob not a problem if you are used to 3 wheelers) as it tips, but actually it just bounces easily up and down kerbs so you dont need to bother. Can't recommend highly enough. Extremely light (unbelievably so), incredibly manoueverable, really easy to fold and unfold and has washable seat covers. Great rain cover and shady canopy make this a perfect all rounder for town and country, winter and summer. Who could ask for more? I love this pram!!!

A very light weight and easy to push buggy. It is great on any terrain and can be pushed with one hand very easily. The downsides are that the seats are permanatly reclined - only slightly but my twins don't like this as they can't see much when awake. The handle bar is way too low and scrapes the floor when you fold it. The rain cover doesn't seem to fit mine properly which is a real pain. It was one of the most expensive doubles but doesn't quite rate the cost. Overall a great double buggy but would be perfect if these few things were sorted.

I looked at a lot of prams/pushchairs whilst pregnant with twins. I choose this one as both seats reclined virtually flat and the weight. I have not been disapointed. It is very easy to push and the put up and down. I've had just one problem with it and that is that the front wheel catch had dislodged as I got it out of the car. This could have released the front wheel. I agree that some more extras could be included. I bought the newborn inserts which looked very comfy and made me feel my twins were very secure.I would recommend this pram.

I bought this pushchair for my 2 son's who were 2 and newborn (now almost 4 and 2). It is very lightweight and fits through most doorways etc as it is the same width as a wheelchair. The seats are wide and very adjustable, the divider between the seats is flexible so they can accomodate two bigger children, my tall almost 4 year old still easily fits in it. It is very manouverable and can be pushed with one hand. The only slight downsides are that a newborn would be facing away from you as there is no carrycot option and that the seats are always very slightly reclined.

22-Sep-2007
This is the best double pushchair I have seen. I would buy it again even if it does not fit my narrow door, which means that I have to carry it out folded and open it outside. I repeat, is is the best, but there is no such a thing as the perfect pushchair, so I will just focus on the minus points. The back of the seats are always too reclined, so I have to put some sweters or something soft and bulky behind the back to make the children more comfortable (but let's think of this as storage space). The footbar is in a triangular shape, so the kids are always dangling the outward foot (hope it makes sense), I have to keep remainding them to put their feet up, if we are in a narrow aisle. Last thing, the raincover is awful, I can never get to stretch it enough to put it properly.

When my second son was born, his big brother was a BIG nearly 3 year old, and this was the only twin I tested in which he could sit comfortably. It's really lightweight and easy to manoeuvre (and even if I was only taking one of them out I loved it so much I'd use it anyway!!!)
On the downside it's quite wide so mightn't fit all doorways, but the wheels come off really easily so that should solve that problem.
It folds flat, so will take up your entire boot, but if you're after something that's a pleasure to push, and that your two little ones can sleep in, this is the one for you!Read moreLessMumsnetter WaynettaSlob

Very light and easy to use. Customer support is fantastic. When shopping for a double buggy, thought it was expensive and didn't have many extras compared with others. Have found that the raincover is all we would have used anyway. DD was 19 months when we had DS, so too big for cosy toes. Children are now 3 and 19 months, and still use it several times a week, as it's so easy to manoeuvre, and can carry bags, etc if children are not actually in it. Best buggy we have bought (and we've had a few). Took a little while to get used to the collapsing mechanism and checking the front tyre was secure, but have no complaints at all. Was actually a very good investment.

"I have had the twin Aria and a twin Maclaren…"

I have had the twin Aria and a twin Maclaren and this is by far better for comfort for my 2 fatty toddlers. It takes up to 2 50lb toddlers which none of the other twins do and even though mine are 3 & 4 they still wants to be carried if they walk too far so I take this if I know we will be walking a lot. It isn't as compact as the Maclaren but in my experience the Maclaren was far too small and flimsy for any kid over 2. The seats are permanently slightly reclined so would probably be OK with a snuggler for a very young baby - they are certainly roomy in depth and width. It doesn't quite fit through every doorway but this hasn't inconvenienced me too much. It's VERY light which is another major plus when lifting it in and out of the car.

very leight weight and stylish. Fits through most doors, very handy for city and country. Not so sure about comfort, my 12 month old daughter never really looks very comfy in there. Superb for my son aged 28 months.

This is a fantastic pushchair for twins! It is lightweight and so easier than most prams to get out of the boot of your car! It is also easy to push and to steer and it has really great extras. It also fits through most standard doorways! On the downside, I would say that it is a shame some of the extras are not included in the price, such as the under-basket. Folding the pushchair is made difficult with the under-basket attached. I also dislike the way the handle has to scrape along the floor when folding the pushchair. Otherwise, I would give it top marks!

This is a lovely buggy, comfy for the children, and nice and light to push. It's the only double which would fit into my narrow hallway. Not great for buses or shopping; but that's the nature of double buggies.

Very easy to fold and lift. Be careful not to overload the back as it tips over VERY easily! Don't bother buying the basket that goes underneath as it hangs so low you will never use it, plus you can get so much in the drawstring bags you do not need it! Great pushchair!

This is great for walks in the park and for larger babes / toddler/baby - not good for shopping - pittiful storage. Folding takes some mastering - lightweight and solid. I would reccomend without reservation, but suggest you try it out in a shop before going to buy one.

Lovely to push when walking on pavements/up&down kerbs/grass. One of the lightest double buggys around so easier to push when a toddler is in it. Seats are comfy and recline well. Enough leg room for toddler and seat secure enough for a newborn. Comfy ride. But wish it had a swivel wheel at the front.

Manoeuverability is amazing it is much easier and lighter than my mamas and papas single pushchair and maclaren. Only down side is it doesn't fit through my front door, so sleeping baby and rather heavy toddler need to be carried into the house.

Overall, this is a pretty good double buggy - it is quite narrow and is easy to manoeuvre, and it has a huge hood which protects children from sun and rain. However, it is quite complicated to put up and down and is still fairly large when it is down. If I was buying now, I would definitely get a Phil and Ted instead.

A perfect double buggy for newborns (with head huggers) or toddlers. It's so light which is a great advantage if you have 2 heavy babies to push around!!! The biggest bonus is it fits through most shop doors unlike many other side by side double buggies. The downside is shopping - you cannot fit very much underneath at all. It's also very hard to find a sunshade to fit. All in all it's great value for money, is so lightweight (only 9kg!!) and looks stylish too.

Fantastic for outdoor walks and trips to school etc. Wouldn't be my first choice if I wanted to do lots of trips to shopping centres as it's fairly wide and the front wheel on mine doesn't swivel. Mind you, width is good, as my 4yo is still perfectly comfortable in it when she's feeling lazy!

This buggy is fantasic. We got it when our second child was born and as we only had a 19 month gap between the two children, we couldn't have done without this buggy. Ideal for a newborn, the older child finds it comfy and easy to get in and out of. It's lighter than my single 3 wheeler and fits into the back of our car easily. Storage space is fine and it's easy to get around the shops or just generally out and about. The only think I would have liked was a swivel front wheel. I like it so much, I wish I'd got the single version when I had my first baby! Can't recommed it highly enough.

This is the 3rd double buggy I've tried (having knackered the others!) and I LOVE it! I have the older, fixed wheel version but i find it fine to manouvre cos it's so light, and prefer the fixed wheel for off-road walks! It's so comfy for my baby and toddler, they often fall asleep in it (which they never did in the others) I originally got it cos of its lightness cos of my carpal tunnel syndrome which gets worse when pushing buggies, and it's lightness is def one of its best features. I agree that it is a bit bulky when folded up, but the removal of the wheels helps if you have a small car/hallway. I can even (just about) get it on a low-floor bus, although don't try if people already in buggy bay! All in all I've found this buggy to have made my life as a mum of two under twos much much easier!

After reading all the reviews on double buggies, I decided to purchase the 360 double nipper. I used it five times when the front wheel fell off. At
]the end of each metal arm on the front fork there are two identical
]black plastic housings that hold each side of the front wheel axel.
]One of these broke into three bits: two fell off, with the
]rest remaining on the metal arm of the fork. The overall piece itself is
beyond repair.
As you can imagine a nightmare whilst out with a baby and toddler. This happened in October and I am still having issues with the manufactures and retail outlet where I purchased from.Read moreLess"Brilliant, so easy to use and light. A bit difficult…"

Brilliant, so easy to use and light. A bit difficult to get in and out of the car and can get bugger all shopping underneath the kids but worth it all the same. Also have a tandem pushchair but it is impossible to move - it makes you appreiate the nipper even more!

Good, lightweight buggy, even lighter than some single buggies! Plenty of storage space on the buggy. Only snag I have found is that the child cannot sit completely upright as they can with other buggies, which annoys my twins ocassionally.
