"I find this buggy perfect for my requirements, my older"
10-Jun-2011
I find this buggy perfect for my requirements, my older son loves that his brother is in the buggy with him. It is easy to use and a good size for a double buggy. I only have one issue with it is that I cannpt seem to get the rain cover on properly which could be me not putting it on properly. At forst I was concerned that my youngest would just be lookig at a back of a seat all the time but there is a big gap and he happily looks out the side all the time.

"Loved this pram - it did everything that was asked"
06-Feb-2011
Loved this pram - it did everything that was asked of it. My toddler enjoyed the vantage point it gave him and my newborn slept snugly in the back. It was quite hard to manouvre sometimes - it tended to veer to the right, but I found if I pumped the tyres slightly this sorted the problem.
It did however give me a fright a couple of times when I went up or down a kerb at an angle and it tried to tip over. My dh wrenched his shoulder saving it whilst bumping down a kerb while crossing a road.Don't know if this is normal for a three-wheeler or not, never having had one before.
The shopping trolley was practically unuseable while ds2 was in the back, so getting a shop was a bit of a problem - carrying bags whilst pushing a big heavy pram home and trying to keep it on an even keel so it doesn't tip is hard work (luckily it's downhill on the way home). It's pretty big and heavy for putting into a car boot, but folds quite flat, which I liked about it.
However! The wheel of the pram fell off (literally just popped off, axle, spring, ball bearing - the whole lot!)while both children were in the pram. Luckily this happened as I was leaving nursery, so no damage done, but my next course of action was to bump down a kerb onto a road. I hadn't noticed, but luckily the lady at the nursery did before we rolled outside. Heavy pram plus two children plus main road - scary!!
I had to abandon the pram at the nursery and get someone to help me home with the children and blankets and bag etc - bit of a nightmare! I don't drive so had to arrange to get it picked up as it was too heavy to carry or wheel back on just the two wheels.
I had only used the pram about 6 times before this.
Very disappointed as had bought this pram after researching twin buggies in great detail and this did come out top, and it was a very good price.
Unfortunately I will never trust the pram again (it is my only mode of transport with 2 kids under 3) and I just thank my lucky stars that this didn't happen while I was too far from home or crossing a road. Really gave me a fright!
Of course I am aware that this could just be my bad luck....Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"I got this tandem for my newborn and my 11"
15-Jan-2011
I got this tandem for my newborn and my 11 month old its brill i love it. My newborn can lie safe and snug and my 11 month old gets to be nosy from his seat he loves it as he can see better than he would in a standard buggy. I'd done a lot of research before i bought this buggy as i was going for a phil and teds. This buggy is bigger, there is more room for the toddler and its not as expensive as you get the twin pack included whereas with the phil and teds you have to purchase the addditional packs. It also comes with the rain cover and a cosy toes and a pump which you store in the basket it could do with a cocoon thing like the phil and teds but apart from that i have no problems with it i love it its light and easy to manoeuvre. A great product and an excellent price.
