What can you say, it does the job. Easy to collapse and a large shopping basket. Kids feel comfy and secure.

Very good double buggy, lightweight and easy to push. Can even push it one-handed round the supermarket! Comfortably holds 2 wriggly 1yo boys and they seem very happy in it. Bit of a pain to get up kerbs (but aren't they all :)
It's not the sturdiest of pushchairs but I'm very happy with it.Read moreLessMumsnetter kekouan

Brilliant pushchair in all ways exceptwhen your older child wants to sleep. The seat is angled so that they "slide" forward and would slide under the bumper bar unless suspended by the harness. Not comfortable at all. It also looks like your sleeping child is falling out. i am sick od passers by commenting on how uncomfortable my 18m.o looks when sleeping. This pushchair is no good at all for newborns, they will slip onto the harness and not be properly secure. My toddler uses the pram to sleeep/rest whilst toddling so the fact that it is useless to sleep in is a big problem for us. Otherwise all other features particularly the large basket are spot on. What A shame. I have had to buy yet another pram because of this silly problem.

"An excellent side by side pushchair" that's "well worth the money". It's relatively lightweight, narrow enough to fit through most doorways and yet has large enough seats to accommodate growing toddlers". It's also "easy to collapse and open". As this is a fold-flat style, it won't fit in all car-boots, but if this isn't important to you, this is a good choice: "We love it -not the sturdiest model but both my newborn and two year old find it really comfortable and best of all, it's really easy to get in and out of shops".

Great buggy. I had a maclaren twin traveller then a Marco Sky Tandem and now the Duolite. I have to say that its fab. Its quite flimsy but my two year old is happy in it and so is my 5mth old. It has plenty of room to carry shopping. Its easy and light to steer. Its narrow considering its a side by side. Its free standing when folded and easy to carry. It can be folded one handed. Its great!

I had this buggy for my baby girl when she was newborn, and my son who was then 18 months. They both used it for 9 months. I was very happy with it, and although it's wide, obviously, I fitted most places and found it very easy to push and maneouvre, and not too heavy uphill. The wheels were small and didn't go up even tiny kerbs easily, but I soon got the hang of tipping it back to get up a kerb. The one thing I hated was the mechanism for reclining/raising the seats, it was by two bits of cord and toggle and was very fiddly, and nearly impossible with a wriggly toddler in place. Also the raincover wasn't long enough and didn't cover my older childs feet. I have just upgrdaded to a more compact "double decker" as I did get fed up with having a wider buggy to handle, but now since my new pram feels like a ton weight I am realising that the Mothercare Duolite is indeed very light. I was able to fling it in and out of the car practicall=y one handed. I would recommend this buggy to anyone

It is easy to push even with one hand! It comes with a rain cover and a huge shopping basket underneath. If you are using it for an older and younger child they can see each other and even hold hands as there is no bar or material in the way. The seat covers can be washed. The best bit for me was the fact it doesnt have a set of wheels in the middle I have quite large feet and found all of the buggys with this I caught my feet on. Oh and it fits through my front door! oh the list could go on and on!!!!

This is a light and easy to manoeuve push chair, but in my opinion, unsuitable for a new born, the strap for between the legs is situated too far down and so a new born slides towards it and is therefore akwardly positioned with the bend in the chair half way down their spine.

nice and light. great turning circle! my toddler loves it. wish it lay slightly flatter, but it goes through most shop doorways (even in village shops!) most annoying thing is small flap of material that gets in the way of the closing catch, so it must be good mustn' it?

A sturdy double buggy with plenty of room for larger children. The shopping basket is excellent. Easy to push, even with one hand in emergencies. Folds flat, rather than umbrella, so takes up quite a bit of boot space. A really good double buggy, much prefer it to the Maclaren twin buggy.

Folds flat, rather than umbrella, so takes up quite a bit of room in the boot. I like the bar, as my toddler isn't keen on being strapped in, so that keeps her safe. Plenty of room for a baby and a toddler, even with winter coats on.

As double buggies go the mothercare doulite does exactly what is says on the tin. Plus sides it is very lightweight and folds up in seconds and quiet flat too and the price wont break the bank. Down sides its not the best looking double buggies/pram and like almost every side by side double it is very wide making shopping a pain at times

good value for price, very difficult to manouvere through narrow doorways as wheels seem to lock at times. Good size shopping basket. Seems fairly comfortable for a toddler and a new baby, although my 4 month old seems to "slip down" slowly. Easy to fold and not too heavy considering its a double buggy
