Amazing pushchair if you don't need to put in a car every 5 minutes. I brought mine last year. It is constantly out as I have the room to store it. We are from the farming community so constantly need the Tandem for school walks. Comfy to push and solid built to last. When I go shopping I have a Kidz Kargo twin buggy so far lasted 4 kids, which is permanently in the back of the car.
Don't buy this for quick around the shops, or if you travel by bus. I use mine for local walking, school etc as I'm a child minder. Easier to push than the umbrella fold as it has pumped up tyres, bounces along.Read moreLess
"Brilliant value for money if you want a Rolls Royce of tandems…"
I can't understand the bad reviews on this product. Unfortunately only bad ones get the publicity, and happy campers don't seem to have the time to write. I'm happy with this, so I'm writing. It does what is says on the box. If you want compact, light weight forget it. This is a lot of pushchair, comfortable push for walks to school and rural, my partner loves it.Read moreLess

"BUILT FOR COMFORT…"
I BROUGHT THIS PUSHCHAIR BECAUSE I WANTED TO WALK THE DOGS AND KIDS IN THE COUNTRYSIDE, BEACH ETC
IF YOU ARE AN OUTDOOR PERSON, AND KEEP THIS PURELY FOR THAT PURPOSE (THE PRICE IS BRILLIANT) I RECOMMEND IT. IF IT'S CITY SHOPPING BUSES ETC FORGET IT IT'S NOT INTENDED FOR THAT AS ITS BUILT FOR COMFORT SO BULKY. VERY HAPPYRead moreLess

I loved it ....it was great on our holiday to Cornwall and even managed the harder sand on the beach! The rain cover was great when it rained unexpectedly....they both fell asleep in it, so I am assuming its comfortable. My only neg is that its a bit big in the boot ...but thats coming from someone that uses a Zapp as a second pram!
we have 2 prams (Quinney Zapp and Kidz Kargo). i use the kids pram for more practical days out and the zapp for travelling.Read moreLess

Absolutely awful product! We had ours for about 3 days before giving it away. It's poor quality, the steering is appalling and doesn't feel safe. I would certainly not recommend this double buggy to anyone. A complete waste of money.Read moreLess

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased this pushchair and have hated it! It will not push in a straight line unless the road is perfectly flat and if you fix the wheel it is way too heavy to manouvre. It is not stable and tips easily. Mine completely collapsed the other day while carrying Two children and is now useless. Forget trying to get hold of the manufacturers they will not answer any call or email. Avoid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Read moreLess
"I bought this second-hand from e-bay as I look after…"
I bought this second-hand from e-bay as I look after my friends little boy the same age as my DS. I love it! I have had a century double (from argos) and found it difficult to use a side by side, but the Kargo is easy to push as the weight seems evenly distributed. The only slight downside (but I believe its because its 2nd hand) is that the wheel squeaks a lot - have added oil but doesn't seem to last for long. I only use it once a week so no problem.Read moreLess

All reviewers agreed that this buggy is very comfortable: "It has lots of leg room" and "unlike some three-wheelers, both seats sit upright and recline completely flat". There's also "great extras with the price". Most found it easy to manoeuvre if "heavy and hard to get up kerbs". However it's practical for both town and country: "This is the only three wheel tandem double pushchair I have been able to find". "It's an ideal compromise as we require a good off-roader and a pushchair that will fit through narrow doorways".Read moreLess

"very good pram if you do a lot ofwalking, easy also…"
very good pram if you do a lot ofwalking, easy also to get on a bus but it is sometimes too wide for older style bus aisles and be careful not to step on a granny's toes!
you got to have a big car boot to fit that one still it folds in and releases quickly
goes over the kerbs like a dream and no strain on your back whatsoever. like any other tandem prams the one in the back does not like it when the hood is on so I am looking at the moment for a suitable reinforced rain cover for the winter seasonRead moreLess

I tried 5 different doubles (easylife with toddler seat; graco; wacky - all tandems and maclaren and KidzKargo umbrella folding ones) and found this one late in the day! Still, it would last from newborn to when your eldest doesn't need a buggy (3.5 years for us!). Best for leg room, easiest to turn, pretty lightweight - esp when pushing, folds easily and rear wheels come off too. It's very sturdy and newer models enable you to extend the size of the front seat so your eldest doesn't fall out of the seat when they nod off once they get to about 2! Great value atRead moreLess

this is an excellent buggy, looks good and is easy to push. I would like to warn other mums though, mine had a manufacture fault, and i could not get any reply from kidz kargo for repair (8 emails and no phone number to call on any website) so the guarentee was worthless, it lastd only 8 weeks then i had to buy another pushchair. it was very dissapointingRead moreLess

Purchased as it was reasonable cheap and we are on a tight budget. Unfortunately the foot muff was much to short for my 17 month old. Tried fitting the raincover,it ripped as it was also much too short. He now has to wear wellies and a rainsuit.
Certainly wouldn't recommend it for toddler use.Read moreLess

Nice looking pushchair with ample room. However its bulky, does not fit into most cars and can feel quite heavy to steer. Avoid buying and try another model.Read moreLess

Only used this pushchair for 8 weeks as hated it so much. Looks nice, was comfortable in the back seat but front seat positioning meant my eldests feet hung frightingly close to the spoked wheeels!
I would not recommend this to any one intending to use a car as is very large when folded. The one time i put it in a car we had to tie the boot open.
The worst thing was the manouevreability it was virtually impossible to go backwards unless you took the front wheel off the ground first, not so simple when ther is a eavy child sitting on it. Tight spaces / corners were a definite no no. But the most dangerous thing was that on two occasions once going around the corner and once up a kerb the pushchair actually tipped over.Read moreLess

Don't buy it! It weighs a tonne and the front seat is far too small for any toddler in all aspects including cosytoes, hood, foot space and raincover. Also you have to lift the whole buggy to put the brakes on and then they can slip off.Read moreLess

Although this is quite a heavy pram it has a number of benefits that outweigh this drawback. It provides a lovely smooth ride and the seats are comfortable for both children. The extras i.e raincover, footmuff pump come with the pram making it value for money. If you recline the front seat right back and pad the seats out with the footmuff you can make this a single pram for a toddler to lay down flat in. Easy to fit through doors. Not too much storage underneath for shopping. Looks quite stylish. Would recommend if weight is not an issue. Can save money by checking out ebay shops for this pram.Read moreLess

i had another tandem before which was far too long and very difficult to manoeuve and heavy.sold it to buy this one so far so good easy to manoeuve, felt light when push but heavy up kerbs but atleast it has a footbar which help to lift it up.the children look cosy in it,it looks very stylish, its just something to feel proud of when pushingRead moreLess

best double pushchair ever, value for money, comes with raincover and cosytoes.have a back pocket, big enough to put wipes and nappies, keys and even has a bottle holder pocket.in hot days it can be remove for baby to enjoy the fresh air or the sunshine. The front backrest has 3 recline position which is rare to find in a tandem pushchair and the rear backrest recline in 3 position including laying flat. With both its muti-positioning canopy both babies will never need a sun parasol as it can be put up or down depending the direction of the sun or can be both taken off if needed. The rear wheels can easily come off to fit in car and the best bite is when people come to ask you where you bought it from,it just look stylish and durableRead moreLess
"I bought mine second hand of ebay, and there is…"
I bought mine second hand of ebay, and there is a newer model out there which may be a bit better. Having said that, it is very heavy (around 19kg), and therefore trying to keep it straight on a cambered pavement is hard. My baby's feet touch the seat in front and annoy her brother, and my toddler (although tall) looks like he is falling out of the front seat. It does not sit upright enough. That said, he doesn't seem to mind.
Overall, too heavy, not comfy enough and hard to steer. On the plus side, I can access the shopping basket OK which carries a few bits, and it is good in the shops as nice and narrow. Don't think there is a perfect double out there!Read moreLess

It's great on flat surfaces, but absolutely useless if you are anywhere near an incline. Would never buy one again. Gives the impression of an off-roader, but is only good for the city!Read moreLess
"With the front wheel on swivel it runs off down…"
With the front wheel on swivel it runs off down sloped kerbs, when teh wheel is locked the pushchair folds up when I put my weight on the back to go round corners. It is hard to get a baby in and out of the back and after 3 months the front canopy on mine broke. The shopping basket is full once the rain cover is in it and if I put any thing in the pockets on the back it saggs and hits my baby on the head so i can't use them. My husband is taking it to the tip tomorrow as I will not even sell this on. Only had it 4 months was a huge waste of money.Read moreLess
"Looks great, a bit of a disappointment. Incredibly difficult to…"
Looks great, a bit of a disappointment. Incredibly difficult to move when folded, especially as the clasp to keep it folded is ineffective. Difficult to get things in and out of the shopping basket. The raincover doesn't cover the front childs legs, my toddler had to sit with knees under chin to stay dry. When bare foot in the summer the front child got his foot caught between the spokes of the front wheel. Getting the rear child in and out is difficult and I don't know how he'll fit when he sits up, or what he'll look at except for the black nylon which will surround him. Veers to one side on the pavements unless the surface is totally level and with the weight is very hard to push in a straight line. Got a puncture within weeks. The instructions and website are also quite useless. Fantastic when out shopping, turns very well and goes like a dream on totally flat ground. Too wide to get through some doorways due to the chunky tyres. A bit of a disappointment after all the research I did!!Read moreLess
"We love our new stroller! I searched a long time…"
We love our new stroller! I searched a long time for a tandem stroller that wasn't too bulky and that I could maneuver fairly easily and found it in this stroller!
I have an almost 4 year-old who is almost 30 lbs. and a 4.5 month-old that is almost 16 lbs. With a Snuzzler insert, we have been able to place our younger one in the front without problems and our older one enjoys the novelty of crawling in and out from the back. For trips where she needs to get out more often (i.e., the zoo), she sits in the front.
I would absolutely recommend the stroller to other families! I have gotten great comments from people when we have been out and about. My only problem is a personal one--I look at how narrow the stroller is and forget about the wheels and do occasionally walk into things when in stores!Read moreLess
