"I loved this one. I've had over fifty and this…"
19-Nov-2008
I loved this one. I've had over fifty and this is one of the best.
Had been struggling to push a hefty 3yo in something else and then this turned up and was heaven! Really good weight distribution for a heavier child. It was a breeze to push.
Swivel wheel still meant some lifting on tight corners but not hard as the weight was in the right place. Beautiful quality, eminently cleanable, raincover was naff though, looked like a giant greenhouse/bubble - get your own! Footmuff was gloriously soft. (Better than most)
just very well made. only slight problem was handlebar screws coming loose and falling out sometimes - Dorel UK sent spares out for free though. Keep a few in stock!
That sounds mad but it is worth it for the quality and ease of use. It stores nicely - positive folding and stays shut.
Shopping basket was pants though. ; )Read moreLess3 people found this review helpful.

"This will last for years as its so well built…"
01-Jan-2008
This will last for years as its so well built and the seat is very large so a 4 year old would easily fit in it! Its well padded and easy to adjust to recline. The hood is large but could do with a viewing window so you can check on baby. The basket is a good size, the suspension is great so if you walk alot of jog its lovely. There is a hand brake as well as a footbrake and both are very good. The tilt wheel is a nice touch but doesn't go round bends as easily as a swivel wheel so you have to lift the pushchair as if it had a fixed wheel. Its very wide which makes it sturdy but no good in my local shop or on any public transport. It wont fit through a standard sized doorway either. To fit it into my boot (astra) i have to remove one rear wheel, which i admit is quick to do but a bit of a pain. It takes up my whole boot so no room for anything else. Its large when folded so you would need lots of room to store in the house. Its also heavy to lift so not recommended often! If you are into walking though and want a pushchair thats built to last this is for you! Its great for muddy or uneven ground and looks good too! I felt proud pushing my son around in this. The front wheel does rub on the inside of the hood when folded so you need to make sure its clean before folding it. I kept the pushchair up though as i had the room so wasn't a big problem! When my son is sat in a pushchair he is lazy and leans to one side, and in some i have found his head is leaning on a metal bar. With this the seat is very well padded on the sides too so very comfy for baby! Not suitable from birth but you can buy a carrycot or carseat which can be attached to the frame for an extra cost.
A great pushchair if you walk alot, not so good in the car or shops!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

I loved my Quinny, it was like the Rolls Royce of buggies! Superbly comfortable for the child, really well made, easy to clip car seat and carry cot in. I found it easy to stear, fold and take wheels on/off. On the down side it's heavy, wide, the front wheel folds down in to the canopy making it very dirty if you've been off road and the smooth tyres punctured very easily.

Fantastic pushchair, really roomy comfy seat, which can face either way. Has steerable wheels rather than swivel, but easy to push once you get the hang of it. The large air filled tyres make for a smooth ride for baby.

I liked this buggy a lot and it was very well built. It was a joy to push even with a heavy three yr old. The tilting wheel wasn't fantastic, I always had to tip the buggy anyway, so a proper swivel would have been better. Folded very efficiently and stayed that way! Wheels lovely. Weight distribution great. Basket pretty poor, things kept falling out. That was why it had to go in the end. Superb quality though and great customer service, sent me spares etc. free. Heavy to carry. Very cushioned seat.

"A really adaptable option, the Freestyle is available with matching…"
07-Jan-2007
A really adaptable option, the Freestyle is available with matching carrycot and car seat, so it's "a travel system in disguise" (though they do cost extra). Everyone thought it well-made: "the breaking system is spot on" and "it feels like it will last forever". The tilting wheel makes it "easily steerable with one hand", it's "super-comfortable" and the car seat clips on and off "incredibly easily". It's "heavy" "large" and bulky" so not great for lifting on and off buses. But if comfort (for mother and baby) is your priority, this could be the one.

Adjustable handle height great for couples with significant height differences. One of the few models on the market tested for heavier babies / toddlers - upto 18kg whereas most go upto 15kg. Pretty heavy, wider than average and you need a car with a big boot. Very comfortable for DS.

I bought this three wheeler for a bargain price from Glasgow Pram Centre over the internet. I have three children under five, and have got through four buggies, including one twin seater. I have to say that this is the most robust and easy to manouvre buggy yet! It is bulky and just fits into the boot of my car, but it is worth it for the quality. I live on the top a hill and am surrounded by woodland so it is just perfect.

great for the beach- we looked at loads including the bugaboo and mountain buggy and the 3xl had the best carrycot option and fitted with the fantastic maxi cosi cabrio.
thought we would find the width and the lack of swivel wheel a problem in town but haven't and it has a great size shopping basket.
if we do buy a stroller when baby is older we are so convinced by quinny quality it wil be a zapp.Read moreLess"It is fantastic. Super durable. I have been jogging with…"

It is fantastic. Super durable. I have been jogging with it and the tilt sterring is great. It is also fantastic over rough ground. The best thing is being able to fit the car seat into it - my boy LOVES sleeping in the carseat outside - much more than being inside.

WOW......I love this buggy! my nly grumble is that you have to buy the rain cover separatley. It is quite big but so unbelieveabley easy to manoeuver, it jst rolls effortlessly, you do have to remember to put the break on on ahill as it will very easily roll off. My 2 yr ols has bags of room in it and he loves it. The swivel wheel is ingenuius, and the folding mech is very easy and although not the smallest buggy when folded it's much much lighter than I expected.

Although this is a big buggy/pram I'm amazed at how easy it it to manoeuver. My 2 yr old has bags of room in it (my 4yr old will sneek in it too if the opportunity arises and even he can sit comfortably)
It looks very sturdy and I get alot of admirers.Read moreLess"Fab for off roading - glides over sand, pebbles etc…"

Fab for off roading - glides over sand, pebbles etc on beach and has been up a few mountains in it's time! Bit tricky in shops - very wide wheel base but all in all i love it and everyone always comments on how snug and comfy my ds looks in it. Also very handy working with car seat - as pushchair seat detatches not bulky and heavy to push like a lot of travel systems are

This is a big 3 wheeler but I love it. It looks smart and my 2.5 yr old has bags of room in it.
It is so easy to push and manouever that I found my maclaren buggy hard word after using it.
My only grumble is that there isn't a catch to hold it closed when it's folded up.....or at least I haven't found one!!Read moreLess"Not worth the money for something so impractical, your need…"
07-Jan-2007
Not worth the money for something so impractical, your need a very large house if you want to use it all the time. Looks abit like the old fashioned invalid carts. The cosy toes zip broke after a year so I begrudge buying another one. Obviously designed by a bloke. The rain cover annoys me because it doesn't fold up nicely. My husband chose this and I regret it. We mainly chose it in mind to use in Dorset where my other halfs family lives but we've only had time to go there a hand full of times in the last 2 years. The last comments are that the basket is tiny and the seat back adjuster is very poorley and cheaply designed you have to almost sit on the floor to adjust it !!

Although it's a bit bulky, the fantastic manoeuverability of this push chair more than makes up for it. It really does feel 'all terrain', and you know you can push it up a cobbled street without waking up your baby. I am absolutely certain that I'll not need to get another push chair again ....this one will run and run!

this has been a great buy, we walk absolutely everywhere as we live in a big city and this pushchair has seen it all. great accessories, comfy footmuff, carseat and spacious carrycot. the seat is a really generous size, our daughter is nearly 3 and still lots of room.i dont fold it up for the car that much, we have a lightweight stroller for travel. can take ALOT of weight for shopping etc, this has been like my car and takes everything!!! have really put it through the mill and it still looks and feels fine, have tried pushing the bog standard 4 wheel pushchairs and much harder to manouver than this.
