"Brilliant off roader…"
23-Feb-2013
Did lots of research before purchasing wanted buggy could ultimately run with but also cope well with rough terrain. Purchased in december also bought newborn insert and fleecy liner, came with rain cover which is excellant and covers pram fully. This pram has gone across rough tracks and i was the only one out in the recent snow it flew across it, also tried out on sand same result, yet to try on full beach! Nice big hood so baby nice and snug when down. Only downside is size, but it is light and wheels come off, but for the price you can always get £20 buggy for nipping out to shops in car! Turns on a sixpence definately recommend, cant understand people who spend a fortune on prams cause of the name but then useless!

"Can't go wrong with this…"
06-Nov-2012
We've had ours for nearly 2 years. Having traded our useless Maclaren in need of something sturdy for dog walks etc. Since then I have had to pump up the tyres twice. That's IT!
Pros: Super sturdy for off road adventures. Easy to put up/fold down. Smooth to steer even one-handed, Fairly low handlebar (Great for me being 5"2'). Fits in the boot of our Audi A3. And because it was so cheap to buy, I'm not stressed about my 2yr old getting it filthy.
Cons: It is basic. It needs a snuggle buggy liner to pad out the seat. The straps to adjust the recline are a bit fidly. The seat is never fully upright, which bugs me slightly when my daughter is eating. Lastly, it's a bit of a lump but then what do you expect?
So glad I didn't spend unnecessary money on our off road gem!Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

"Light, nippy and love it…"
30-May-2012
We've had our 360 for 10 months now. We've got from lie flat with our newborn baby to it now adjusted to seat our 10 month old little man and it's been fantastic. A 3 wheeler off-roader which will fit in the boot of a ford fiesta, and easy enough to steer one-handed whilst walking dog on lead in other hand. It's been perfect for us.
I wasn't sure about it before i bought it only because I felt worried about putting newborn in it. Well after some research, I didn't bother with newborn insert but got a Phil n Teds Cocoon which fits great and was absolutely perfect. It even clipped in with the seatbelts ok (use the velcro strips on the coccoon).
I can't recommend enough. Love it.Read moreLess4 people found this review helpful.

"I recently purchased the Outnabout 360 single version 2. Overall…"
15-Nov-2011
I recently purchased the Outnabout 360 single version 2. Overall I think it is a fantastic buggy for crossing all types of terrain as well as for shopping. My baby appears to be completely comfortable even on the roughest of ground! We used it from newborn with the head support which is purchased separately. The head support is a bit tricky to strap into the buggy and the straps look a bit uncomfortable so we just put a sheepskin down with the seat reclined flat and he looks really comfortable in there. The buggy is really easy to steer with one hand and very lightweight to lift into the boot of the car. The new version also has adaptors available for fitting the Maxicosi carseat onto it which is why we waited for the new version to come out.
My one warning with this new version of the Outnabout would be the new breaking system. They appear to have made it more complicated than on the old version so in order to lock the break, a metal pole has to slot into specific holes in the wheel. The problem with this is that if the break pedal is forced down when it's not in the right alignment, it breaks very easily, as we found out after a couple of weeks. Outnabout fixed it within 10 days but I am concerned that this problem may happen again, especially if someone else borrows the buggy and is unaware of how careful you have to be with it.
So, overall I am very happy with this buggy as it is so lightweight, copes with all terrain, suitable from newborn, fits a Maxicosi carseat and folds easily but a little disappointed with the breaking system which seems to be its weak point.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

Love it. So easy to push and handle. Its not a one and only pushchair as large when folded and when shopping. But if you do a fair amount of walking on uneven footpaths and off roading this is ideal. Only negative is we brought a limited edition which included a nicer wheel design unfortunately we were unable to pump them up due to the ridiculous value design. However we broken a wheel and were sent another and this desig fault had been fixed.

"GREAT pushchair for all requirements. Lightweight (8kg ish), great over…"
05-Jan-2011
GREAT pushchair for all requirements. Lightweight (8kg ish), great over all terrain (incl off road tracks, snow, the beach) as well as being VERY manouverable for use about town. Comfortable from birth right up (we have used it from newborn to three years). Great to run with - can be pushed one handed allowing a more natural running style. We load up the handles with LOTS of shopping (using clips which are easy to buy from mothercare etc). We use it with a buggy board (litaf seat to go) which works well albeit with the niggles that go with using a buggy board (bruised shins/less manouverable). Great price tag - good value. We have been using it for three years and it is still going strong. Big hood to protect from the elements. Rain cover fits and works well. Very useful storage pockets in the hood which fit a surprising amount in.
The negatives:
- shopping basket underneath didn't last long over rough terrain (but we load up the back so this hasn't been a great problem)
- it is larger than i'd like for going on holiday - but we still take it as it is far far more practical to use than our travel stroller - it folds flatter than you would imagine if you pop all the wheels off (easily done)
- you won't look posh
I like it enough to have bought the double version also!Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

I LOVE this buggy. It is super light, easy to push one handed up Sheffield's steep hills, great for walking the dog, fits in the boot of our golf with the dog, very comfy for baby. Raincover is good - nice snug fit. Suspension amazing. When we had massive snowfall recently I was the only person out pusing a buggy for days. It really is an all terrain vehicle. All in all can't imagine why anyone would want anything else (I tried out many of my friends buggies before choosing this one). At about

23-Sep-2010
We've had this a couple of years or more now and still love it. My daughter is three and still finds it very comfortable. It's very comfortable to push too, and is great on all terrains. The only drawback is that it is heavy and bulky to put in the car boot, but we have taken off the wheels and taken it on holiday in the car several times. When a screw fell out, I contacted Out'n'about and they send a replacement by return free of charge, which I was very pleased with, even though I couldn't remember where or when I bought it (online).

Fantastic! This was our third pushchair after a long-line of bad-buys. We just wish it had been in the shop when we'd bought our original pushchair as it even has an attachment for a newborn.
One slight problem is the sun-visor - although very big and so great for keeping the sun off, if it's a windy day - it doesn't stay put. But that's nothing in comparison to all the other good, well thought out parts.Read moreLessMumsnetter matronmama

I bought one of these, with a fixed wheel, 4 years ago and it has been fantastic! My 4 year old still fits in it when she is tired! I've used it nearly every day for the school run and I've had 1 puncture! I'd definitely recommend it. It is a bit long for pushing around shops, so when I go shopping I use a maclaren. I also bought the extra basket which fits underneath and was definitely worth the money! Still going strong and easy to push!

31-Dec-2008
This is my review about the Nipper 360 SINGLE
I bought this pushchair after DAYS AND NIGHTS of research LOL, being a first time parent, i didn't have a clue, i have been looking for one since i was pregnant and my baby is now 7 weeks old!
I think its FAB its a dream to push/lift very easy
GOOD POINTS:
-looks very nice/not like other pushchairs around so u stand out of the crowd!
-EXTREMELY easy to push and my little one looks very comfy inside
-got to LOVE the 12" tyres!
-very versatile, good for town/shopping and on rougher terrains
-love the pickaboo little window at the top so i can see bubs while riding it
-excellent suspension for extra comfort
good size (i thought it was going to be bulky but its not!)
-the hood is brillant/gives good coverage
-front swivel whell makes it extra manouverable
-good raincover
-love the large pockets on the hood
-The parking brake is awsome! when its on u know that the buggy is not going anywhere !!
-at 7kg its one of the lightest in the market!
-Lies completely flat which is a big plus as my baby girl is only 7 weeks!
BAD POINTS:
-not so keen on the opening at the back there a mesh meaning that on cold days there's air flow going to baby but i guess i can sew a piece of tissue there to prevent this
-Very poor quality harness, looks very cheap but i am going to buy the strap covers to prevent irritating baby's shoulders
-would be better if the fabric could come off for washing, but it comes with a removable padded liner so u can take that off and wash it
-Not enough storage for shopaholics but an extra shopping basket is available to buy separatly
-I looked for it EVERYWHERE for a test drive but its like finding a needle in haystack!! the double version is the one i found in ONE shop in London!!
-Folding it is a bit awkward! and it doesn't stand when folded but would fit in most car boots i'd say
Bottom line> the good points outgrow the bad ones in my opinion and i simply LOVE my new nipper and i don't think anyone would be dissapointed with it :)Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

Fantastic - so easy and light to maneouvre, looks so comfortable. By far the best buggy I've ever used. Love love love it. Makes going for walks a joy. Hardly feels like you are pushing anything and great over bumps.
Not a massive amount of shopping space but OK. Usually take a small rucksack.
Found it when I saw someone pushing her son in it and asked her about it. She had had SIX children and been through a million buggies she said and this was by far the best. She said she was tempted to have another child just so she could keep on using it!Read moreLessMumsnetter christiana

We started off with the double. I missed it so much after selling that that I bought a single through ebay. It is fab!! Its the one with the larger jogger wheels so yes, it is long and trips people up but we don't mind!! We take it everywhere, I even run with it. Folds up very small with the wheels off. Oh, and your older child can sit on the footrest on the front when they are tired.

23-May-2008
I love my Nipper! I've tried quite a few other pushchairs but this is by far the best one. I use it around town, in the shops and off road, it's got fab suspension and I can steer with one hand, great for when I'm holding my son's hand. It's got a huge hood so you don't have to worry about the raincover in a light shower. It folds up compactly too, I can fit it in the boot of my Suzuki Ignis but you can take the wheels off if you need to. There are only 2 downsides 1) the basket as it's not too big but there is a drawstring compartment which is quite roomy & 2) the raincover provided isn't that good. I bought a 3 wheeler raincover from Boots which solved this problem though. I also bought a Buggy Buddy which is a clip for the handle - I can fit loads of shopping bags on it! Anyway, could go on loads about how much I love it but need to stop ... !

09-May-2008
I have nothing but praise for this fantastic 3 wheeler. I bought it for my second baby as a flexible choice when taking my daughter to school. It ticks all the main boxes: cost, flexibility, lightweight, sturdy, comfortable (pneumatic tyres), ideal on pavements, parks, steps, in/out of car etc. But it is the little extras that make this stand out. it has a long hood which give extra protection in the good and bad weather. the hood has a perspex window so you can see your baby (particularly good as this pram suits from birth). there are side pockets in the hood for lightweight/pocket items which is handy. I would definitely recommend getting the raincover (for wind protection also)plus the sunvisor and cosy toes which all fit very snugly. Put's my first travel system to shame.

Get the one with the swivel front wheel! I'd be lost without my nipper - Use it around town and on footpaths/across fields everyday and it's incredibly easy to manouvre. I do all my supermarket shopping with it too, you can put the basket on the slightly-folded hood and fill it up (couldn't vouch for the safety of doing this but it feels really strong to me!) On the negative side, there's v. little space to store all that shopping so you need to take a rucksack with you. Only other negative is the straps - it could just be me but I can never get them to feel really tight and secure - but my ds is particularly wee. Packs down quite small, wheels pop off easily if needed. Only had a few punctures to begin with - don't think the inner tubes it came with were v. good quality but Halfords sell suitable replacements and (fingers crossed) it's been puncture free for 6 months now.

In a word....Brilliant. This pushchair is very light and superb for off road aswel as around town and shops. I looked around for ages and did my research and can honestly say that for the price this has got to be one of the best 3 wheelers. The new model has a front swivel wheel which can also be locked out (very easy to do), the seat goes flat so a baby can lay flat. All the wheels come off (again very easy to do) so the pushchair actually goes flat in the boot.
I have walked miles with mine on pavements, footpaths and coastal paths.

Users found this middle of the range three wheeler "nice and light", "well-made" and "easy to push". It works fine both on "sand and mud" and is "good value too". The large wheels make running on and off road very easy and it won praise for it's "meaty suspension". What's more "it folds up a lot smaller than similar pushchairs so fits in the car". It's "a bit on the long side" and "not that manoevrable in shops" plus the shopping basket's on the puny side so maybe not the best option for shoppers. Nevertheless a firm favourite with walkers.

However, we found it is worth it's weight in gold when travelling on London Underground because it's so light and (relatively) easy to hike up the inevitable flight of stairs. The only downside is that it doesn't have as much "shopping storage" as some other pushchairs.

Ok, it's a super off road pram, and will cope with the bumpiest rides. It is super light too and not very expensive BUT it is NOT suitable from birth (even with the newborn insert), in fact it is dangerous for a tiny baby !!Especially if the baby is small, because this makes the pram unstable and it is prone to tip over without a few good pounds in it. Also, people are forever tripping over the wheel at the front. So if it was advertised for from 6 months onwards and off road only (definately not in town) then it would get top marks
