"We purchased our iCander Apple Jogger just before the birth…"
23-Sep-2011
We purchased our iCander Apple Jogger just before the birth of our son - the chassis is quite heavy, however I preferred it's sturdiness to lighter models, and have since found it an advantage in use over many different terrains; It's durable and versatile.
We're just moving Baby George out of the carry cot (is it sad that this upsets me??) and is starting to use the seat unit. With both units I found it very easy to change, and both seem to have been/be very comfortable for George. The carry cot was very much suitable for over night and works just as well than if he were in a Moses basket. The seat unit works perfectly and easily in both forward and rear facing modes and I desperately look forward to playing around with the additional colours/flavours (hint for Christmas!).
The front wheel can at times be a bit precarious uphill, but I know from friends this isn't exclusive to iCandy. TIP: try not to overload the basket as doing so has caused it to rub against wheels - but other than minor wear and tear, I have yet to find anything to grumble about. Overall, a fantastic stroller!Read moreLessMumsnetter KimMcGarvie

I bought at iCandy Apple 2 years ago, for the birth of my first child. Overall, I was very impressed: the frame is very strong and sturdy, the chunky rear wheels are great on all terrain and rarely need pumping up, the smaller front wheels make it a joy to steer (that said, I foolishly purchased the large front wheel at

05-Nov-2010
I have been using my apple jogger for my third child and I must say this push chair is fantastic, if only it had been around when I had my other two children. I have had other three wheelers in the past and felt that I wanted a change this time round, I went into John Lewis and whilst they only had a four wheeler on display they were able to order me in a jogger version. I am only using the carry cot at the moment but little louis has so much room and he looks really comfortable, its great because he also sleeps in it during the day too. I have been using to go in a out of town and it is wonderful to push, easy to fold and I know I will get great use out of it. The extendable handle is a great feature especially as I am quite small and hubby is quite tall. If only it was around a several years ago. I cannot recommend this product more than enough.

"I have had the iCandy jogger for 8 months now…"
12-Oct-2010
I have had the iCandy jogger for 8 months now and it has been used every day. Both myself and my hubby wanted a sturdy pushchair that would last and we are really pleased with it.
The carry cot was excellent keeping my baby protected from the cold snowy winter we had this year. We purchased a mattress suitable for the baby to sleep on over night for the carry cot enabling us to use this instead of a Moses basket during the day and at night when when we stayed away (the carry cot easily folds flat).
The pushchair looks very comfortable and my little boy gets very excited when he goes in it! The ability to change from rear to forward facing is excellent and the pushchair format can fold in one piece when in the forward facing mode.
We bought the maxi-cosy car seat and adaptors to go with the pushchair chassis. I have used this much more that I expected, however I do find the car seat a little difficult to attach and remove from the pushchair.
We have used the iCandy Apple over various terrains and have yet to find anything that it could not cope with. Being a three wheeler the front can be a little unstable on a steep camber but I think that would be the case with any three wheeler. The only fault we can find is the front wheel rubs on the shopping basket but overall I would recommend this pushchair.Read moreLessMumsnetter greenpark

10-Aug-2010
We chose this pushchair because it's so versatile and so sturdy. So far I've used it with the carrycot and car seat, and it's so easy to attach either.
There is no issue with the shopping basket going anywhere near the wheels, even when fully laden- either others are unlucky or i-candy have improved things.
It is heavy, but other lighter systems didn't feel nearly as well built.
The only down-sides are the folding mechanism takes some getting used to, and the front wheel does sometimes get itself turned sideways- but a quick nudge gets things back on track.
Overall a fantastic system which we can expand in future if necessary.Read moreLessMumsnetter Barbeasty

Before the birth of my DD last May I was at panic stations as to what pram to get, I'm a personal trainer so having one which suited my active lifestyle was important. It was a friend who suggested iCandy and after having a test run in the shop I fell in love and it has not let me down since. We're expecting number 2 in September and so will be getting the apple to pear upgrade, perfect!!

I have used the Apple Jogger for nearly eight months now and its the best 3-wheeler we ever had. Its particularly good when rearward facing. Its has a big seat and a big carry cot which has a handy bar to secure the carry cot. Great for walking and turns heads! Very happy

"We had looked at Phils and Teds, Bugaboo, stokke, Mutsey…"
27-Dec-2009
We had looked at Phils and Teds, Bugaboo, stokke, Mutsey and every pram we could for months before settling on the apple. Had to wait a few weeks for John Lewis to get the colour we wanted. We collected from the store where the pram was set up for us, we already had the maxi cosi car seat so we attached this in the pram and went away, although we had to carry the seat to the car. Pushing is wonderful, even though we had spent a lot of time in the store looking at prams hadn't pushed the apple that far before, it pushes and steers beautifully, one handed when necessary, the handle lifts really high so in ideal for both of us. It's nicely made and looks so good, we've seen a few of the others we considered about but don't ever feel we should have bought a different brand. Good product, fair price but really good value, upgrades to a tandem also.

22-Sep-2009
I have used my icandy apple every day for 16 months and I still love it. It is used on a rough footpath, bark chipped path and through woods every day and has stood the test. The suspension is great, everything is easy to clean and the frame is sturdy.
I recently bought a 'umberella buggy' for going in the car, but it is now collecting dust in the garage because even though its bulkier, the icandy is still a better pram to push so finds its way back into the car on most journeys.
Highly recommended.Read moreLessMumsnetter doggybelemy

"I own icandy apple jogger and really do like it.…"
31-Aug-2009
I own icandy apple jogger and really do like it. There are a few negatives with this pram, but what pram is perfect!
Basket - lovely and big, but is designed for the non-jogger version. This means that is the basket is full, the jogger wheel rubs against it eventually wearing through. iCandy won't deal direct with consumer, so took pram back to retailer and got a call the next day saying icandy had sent a replacement basket. No permanent solution, but icandy seem happy to replace baskets when required.
Tipping - the pram is really sturdy, however when walking across a hill (not up or down) the pram has a tendency to want to tip. I imagine this is a generic 3 wheeler issue though.
Colours - loving the new range of coloured hoods etc - just a shame these weren't available when I bought mine.
Pip converter / Pear upgrade - very clever. Not cheap, but much cheaper than buying a new double. Haven't used it (yet), so can't comment on how good it is.
Folding - you have to take the cot / seat off to fold the pram. There is a knack to folding the frame, but once you've got it, it's not an issue. Again, this isn't unique to the icandy apple - this is a feature of all (or almost all?) travel systems.
Car Seat - is attached using adaptors. Pretty straightforward. No issues.
Overall happy with this pram and would say it's as good as it's peers on the market (quinny etc). However DD is now 8 months and I'm beginning to look at a lightweight umbrella buggy (think Maclaren). Any travel system is expensive when realistically you will only use for around 9 months... Again, not unique criticism to icandyRead moreLessMumsnetter MrsMong

I had one of these for a while with my daughter. I found the fact that its rear facing a real plus. I had no problems with this buggy and only sold it when i went to something smaller. Its quite large but i would deffinately say one of the best fear facing 3 wheelers on the market.

ive owned 4 buggys and this was my favorite 1. first i had the mamas n papas 03 sport for dd1 which i found useless so i got this instead. dd1 loved it and so did i she was always so comfortable and cozy. i love how it can be rear or forward facing and lays back easily. a little heavy and sometimes hard 2 steer but still a great buggy. i had to sell mine to buy the phil and teds sport when dd2 came along but still whenever i see a mum pushing this buggy i remember how much i loved mine.

12-Dec-2008
I bought the i candy apple with jogger wheel because i live in germany and intended to use it 'off road' and thought the jogger wheel should be easier in the snow. I found the jogger wheel a little unstable with the carrycot on but this week tryed it with the pushchair on, facing me and it nearly tipped over a dozen times. I have emailed icandy who simply said to take it back to the retailer who would send it back to them to check for faults. It is a design fault if you ask me. I would not recommend this pushchair at all. It's not safe!
Oh and i have an Audi a3 and struggle to get it into the boot without taking the wheels off and pushchair unit.Read moreLess1 person found this review helpful.

I bought the iCandy Apple when i had my son, I had only used it for 5 weeks when one of the front wheels didn't touch the ground anymore and the chassis failed and folded by itself with my son in it.
It was returned to icandy who replaced it with a new one. I have only used it for 1 week and i have the same problem again.
I am extremely disappointed with this pushchair, AtRead moreLessMumsnetter stevy

10-Jul-2008
The iCandy Apple Jogger fits my needs perfectly. Quick release wheels and fully off road. I live in quite a rural area and have been on many a muddy walk so the quick release wheels are ideal. It came with a pump, rain cover, black pad, hood, bumper bar and large shopping basket. I purchased a lovely mint green cosi toes and bag seperatley and all at a great price. It fits very nicely in to my little Ford Ka and I am very happy with it.

I have recently taken delivery of the iCandy Apple Jogger Travel System which suits my needs perfectly. The main reason why I went for it was that it that the Pushcahir is all terrain and the quick release wheels as I only have a Mini Cooper I needed something compact. I love that the carry cot has these great stability bars which keep my little man safe and secure. I will not be off roading at the moment as he is too small and the carry cot is too big. It steers well, folds simply and I have great access to the huge shopping basket.
