"Brilliant buggy…"
20-Dec-2012
We bought the B-Smart on the recommendation of a friend and so glad we did. We got a bundle from Kiddicare which included the chassis, carrycot, carseat and buggy seat for one price, making it very good value indeed.
The chassis is lightweight but sturdy and folds easily. The wheels are robust and have coped with every type of terrain I've used the buggy on so far, including ice and dirt paths.
The carrycot is a real selling point; it allows the baby to lie flat and it's huge, being rated to 9kgs. My not-exactly-petite daughter was comfortable in it until 6mos, at which point she could sit up - unlike friends' carrycots which were only suitable to 3mos. She slept very well in it and it was invaluable as a travel cot when she was newborn.
We've since progressed to the standard buggy attachment: an enormous hood keeps the weather off and the backrest lies flat very easily. It can face either way by turning it around, rather than the handlebar reversing. Speaking of which, the handlebar does not extend but 'flips' up and down which is convenient when adjusting for my husband's use since he's considerably taller than I.
All in all a great buy and I wouldn't swap in a hurry. The only small downside is the back axle - it's wider than other pushchairs on the market and is caused in large part by the wheels. It's not, therefore, necessarily the best option on crowded buses but I've yet to have a problem and the cons are most outweighed by the wheels being perfect for all-terrain use. Highly recommended.Read moreLess2 people found this review helpful.

"Lightweight, easy to fold and easy to push when full of baby & shopping!…"
19-Aug-2012
I was first surprised by the lightweight frame and how easy it was to put up & down with one hand. Very important when wrangling a baby! The 3-wheels can be a bit unsteady on very uneven ground but generally its really strong, and light which makes it a breeze to push about and get up and down steps, into shops etc. I found the detachable back wheels mean it fits into almost any car boot. The pushchair can be put flat for newborns, and can face towards you or away from you, so great for older babies/young toddlers. Good range of colours too.

"Some good features on seat, but horrible chassis, limited longevity and largely impracticle…"
16-May-2012
The plusses are that the seat is great for younger kids, reclines easily. Swaps to face back/ forward easily and the massive hood is great. We hated everything else about it: - feels really weak, suspension useful on rough ground but frame flexes way to easily, doesn't cope with curbs and tips alarmingly on city corners. Wasn't upright enough for DS to sit up and see what was going on in - and he seemed to grow out of it soon after a year. Massive and heavy when folded. One of the brakes failed early on and we were relved when the frame snapped after 18 months and we had to go and get a new pushchair. The under basket is just wierd - has no lip so you can't put shopping, coats or anything loose init. But handles boxed power tools and case of beer very easily - not sure who this facility is aimed at?

"Great all terrain pushchair!…"
16-May-2012
Had the B Smart 3 from brith , using the carry cot, and its a great country pram. Good for long walks and walking the dogs over all terrains. It can be unsteady on curbs if you have the front wheel on swivel but i really only find swivel wheels useful in town round shops. I walk our dogs down by the river every day and this involves a steep hill, its easy to push and a great all terrain pushchair. It also great when you have the carseat as you can click the carseat onto the frame without taking the pram bit with you great for shopping trips. The shopping basket is huge and you can get alot of shopping on the bottom. It is a bit heavy when folded up and you would need a big boot but the all terrain prams are all the same. overall great all round pushchair.

Got this when dd 6mo, love it. It's comfortable, i love the fact that it can be rear facing (perfect when she's snacking), the hood is huge (you wouldn't even need the raincover in a light shower). Brilliant.

It was definitely a 'smart' move getting this for our baby. We've had it since birth where the seat lay flat, which is perfect with a newborn and now she is six months old she enjoys sitting up in it. It is both rear and front facing (another bonus for newborns) & our little one is very comfy in it! The buggy is very easy to manoeuvre! We even took it camping and it cut through the mud easily while we saw other buggies struggling... the only thing is the shopping basket isn't very deep, but all in all we are very happy with this buggy!

Great value for money, everything I needed at a very reasonable price- rear facing, copes with dodgy terrain, suitable from birth. Feels very sturdy and was easy to put together. Great extendable hood to protect baby from the elements. Only downside is it's quite large folded but as I rarely use a car I'm not too bothered! Overall would highly recommend!

Good for money but not great. I wanted something not too expensive for our 3rd dc so our baby can face us. However, I will probably use dc2's baby jogger city classic sooner than i'd hoped as i find the b-smart 3 unsteady on the front wheel. Fine for around town on a flat but not great for curbs, bumpy ground and country walks.

Wow wow wow!!! Talk about alot of puschair for the money. The BSmart is the new version of the Britax Vigour. We were going to buy the vigour but held off for the Bsmart as its new. Both are fab but the new extendable hood of the BSmart and easy break, great colours too were just the dream buggy.
