"Great for babies first year if you live rurally and are rich…"
Pros. Looks good, especially when used with the carry cot. Is easy to steer and can manage lots of terrain.
Cons. Is expensive. Doesn't even come with rain cover, which costs £25 and is a waste of money and doesn't last, I've been through 2. Difficult to fold. Very heavy once folded so difficult to lift out of a boot. Wide which is good for fitting an older child but not good for trying to get through doors. Wheels. I Keep getting flats. Mine lasted 18 months before I was given a mountain buggy. (Which is great)Read moreLess
"Big buggy great for off-road…"
We bought this buggy as we live rurally and have a dog, so it needed to cope with lots of different terrain.
We were lucky to get a free carrycot with it plus car seat adaptors. The carrycot was lightweight and easy to clip onto the frame, although we only used it for 3 months. The car seat adaptors fit a maxi cosi and again are easy to clip in.
The buggy itself is large and wide, with plenty of space for an older child. The harness fits snugly however, and DD was secure in the buggy from about 4 months.
I wouldn't buy this buggy if car boot or storage space is an issue. It is quite bulky even when folded and has a two hand fold which makes it unsuitable for use alone on public transport. We took this buggy to London on a trip and it was really too unwieldy to use regularly in a city.
The basket is deep and provides good storage, and the safety bar is very popular with DD for resting her feet on in hot weather! Plus we have clipped lots of toys etc to it.
Overall, although the buggy is large, it is not heavy and I can lift it into our boot no problem.
One last niggle - the seat should be able to lie flat, but the material at the sides of the buggy do not allow sufficient stretch to lay the back of the seat completely flat. It is also quite a fiddly mechanism to get the seat upright.
This was still a good buy for the money though, is hardwearing and I expect it to last easily until DD is three, and possibly beyond.Read moreLess
