"Really original design and a definite head-turner. My 3 year…"
Really original design and a definite head-turner. My 3 year old loves it. There are 3 seat and handlebar positions (she's on the smallest), so plenty of longevity and room for growth. The wheels are powered by a chain mechanism (chain safely enclosed) and the pedals sit below the child's feet, so all in all it is bears more similarity to a bicycle and is punted as a more natural transition to a bike. My daughter loves it and is quickly getting the hang of it. However, a major drawback to the Oko is it's shear weight, there is a parent handle but it takes a lot to keep a wandering toddler going in the right direction. Fortunately my daughter understands right, left and straight on and is keen to steer it herself, but unless I've missed something there isn't a way to let it free-wheel. Having said that, for my 3 year old it's perfect, so maybe this would suit most slightly older toddlers who could manage steering and are keen to pedal.Read moreLess
